Thank you very much for visiting my channel and leaving your much-appreciated comment...😊 I know, men, I'm still in shock over the way my beautiful jet went down... That sucks, but that's how our beloved hobby is... The Dark Side of our hobby claimed my beautiful jet as a sacrifice. Thanks again for your comment. Have a great rest of your day 😀 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷
Thanks for taking the time to edit and post this one Ricky! To be honest I love what the big box Rc store has done for our hobby. They keep entry accessible and easier than other companies. But, I’ve quickly learned once you start getting into more advanced planes they just don’t meet our needs as easily. While my NX10 is being repaired I’ve bought a frsky x20s and some sr10 receivers for testing out and so far cost, setup wise and signal reliability they blow our well known brand out of the water. All my new planes will be getting them now. I’m tired of not having as many options as possible with overpriced outdated technology
Thank you very much for visiting my channel and leaving your much-appreciated comment. 😀... I hear you, man... These companies have a very strong monopoly, technology-wise, and most of us fall for it... It's like the never-ending Android/Apple dilemma about which one is better, right! 🤦🏾♂️... I've heard many good things about FrSky... I might give it a try in the near future...😁👍🏾 Have a great rest of your day. 😀...Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷
I know, my friend... And the saddest part was that the crash wasn't caused by pilot error...😢 I'm happy now with my iX14... I hope this new one won't follow in the footsteps of its older brother... Lol 😁🤞🏾🤞🏾 Thanks for your always-appreciated comment, my friend. 😁 I hope you recover from your procedure quickly...🙏 By the way, I just finished posting a short that you might enjoy...😁 Have a great rest of your night. 🌙 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona. 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷
Thank you very much for your always-appreciated comment, CVO. Yes, sir, it was a beautiful jet. I might get an ARF Plus and install my wrecked one's guts. I mean, what caused the crash wasn't pilot error but a faulty radio, and there's no way to avoid that happening to any of us. That's why I'll eventually get another one. Have a great rest of your day, my friend. 😊 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷
Oh, Ricky, I’m so very sorry this happened to your beautiful F-16 Thunderbird. It definitely was NOT pilot error. Unfortunately this is one of the saddest part of our hobby. I know what a great pilot you are from watching your previous videos. 😢😢😢
Thank you very much for your much-appreciated comment, my friend. 😁 I truly appreciate your support. What can I say? We are all subject to falling victim to the Dark Side of our hobby sometime during our journey.😁 Have a great rest of your day 😀 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷
😅😅😅 I like your way of thinking, but believe me, there is a very dark side to our hobby, and this was a clear example of it... Sometimes those little happy accidents as you called them can cost a few hundred if not thousands of dollars to replace... I mean, if it happens because of pilot error, it's easier to take, but when the dark side claims a sacrifice, that's when it really sucks...👍🏾 Thanks for visiting my channel and leaving your very appreciated comment 😀... Have a great rest of your day 👍🏾 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷
Thank you very much for visiting my channel and leaving your much-appreciated comment, my friend. 😁 No one is exempt from a similar situation in this hobby. The Dark Side of our hobby claimed a sacrifice that day, and it was my plane's turn... You are right, it sucks when it happens, but what can we do, right? You are right, that F16 was beautiful. I'm thinking about getting the ARF+ version of it and just installing the wrecked one's power plant and having it in my hangar once again.😁 Thanks again for your comment 👍🏾 😊 Have a great rest of your night 🌙 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷
Thank you very much for visiting my channel and leaving your much-appreciated comment, my friend. 😁 My iX20SE was already 1 year old when it first went bad last December, 2023. On that occasion, the right side gimbal failed, and the radio wasn't sending elevator or aileron signals. Ironically and luckily for me at the same time, on that occasion, I discovered that faulty gimbal after I landed my beautiful Freewing F-18 90mm Blue Angels on her maiden flight day. Imagine if that had happened while I was flying my jet...😱 I sent it for repairs the next day, and HH replaced the faulty gimbal at no cost to me. After that, the radio worked perfectly fine for five more months, then this happened...🤦🏾♂️😱🤦🏾♂️ I not only lost my Thunderbirds but my beautiful F22 90mm as well before I figured out that the radio was the one that was defective...😱 In other words, after almost $1k in losses, I figured out that the faulty piece of this puzzle was my radio...🤦🏾♂️ I got a new iX14 and will be selling the iX20SE on ebay soon... Thanks again for your comment my friend 😁... Have a great rest of your day 😀 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷
@@JeffinLowerAlabama thnxs jeff. health is on a decline, due to living hard, ive been on antibiotics 7 days, off a fews day, resting good now, still not able to cook meals, so im catch what come easy, the angel of death keeps knocking, tell all the guys im still kicking and fighting LoL
Damn Ricky! Sorry to hear about that.! Yes I stopped trusting my IX radio. So much I left Spektrum altogether. Lost a bit of money bc that radio. Hoping the best on your ne IX14!!!! BTW what are all the new buildings? And wire fence at the field? 🇺🇲👊👍🇺🇲👊👍
Thank you very much for your always-appreciated comment, John 😁. The radio is already fixed, but I'm going to sell it and just keep the iX14. That happened about three weeks before your Warbird event, but I didn’t have time to edit the video. About those trailers, well, part of the airport is for sale, and all that area is part of it. The soon-to-be owner started bringing in his construction crew, and that's their construction command center. Thanks again for your comment, my friend. Have a great rest of your day! 😀 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 👍🏾 😁 🇵🇷
Joder Ricky!!
Oh no!!!!
Thank you very much for your always-appreciated comment, Jeff 😁. Yes, sir, I totally agree with you. As a matter of fact, when I chatted with them about it, I was expecting at least a discount offer for a new F16, but they never did. When I mentioned it, they just told me that they don't give discounts for crashed aircraft. You are right again about all the money we have spent on their products. If you take a close look at my hangar, I would say that there are a few thousand dollars worth of aircraft and all the related gear, with Eflite and Freewing equally balanced, followed by FMS and OMPHOBBY. All my aircraft run Spektrum receivers as well, and not the cheap ones... At least they repaired the radio at no cost to me, but the crashed aircraft’s cost for repairs or replacement relied on me.😵💫 Have a great rest of your day 😀...
