Crash on startup fix for Fallout 4 on xbox 

Any idea why an original Xbox one would turn off when starting any games? Originally hit me on Fallout 4.

@@monadolifesaver5613 could be a hardware issue like maybe your hard drive is corrupt or broken it could be trying to read missing or corrupt data pretty common with consoles especially Xbox but idk much about technology so thats just a guess

Mine wont let me delete it, is it because of game pass?

Here’s what happened to me, I deleted my game data and everything. I try starting over and every time I go to the opening and press any button to start it crashes before I could continue.

This guy was lucky. I can’t even get past the fucking loading screen

I do if your on xbox then that's probably why there's an area by the outside of goodneighbor for example were you'll crash with a fresh install and ZERO mods downloaded creation club also is known for causing issues its just buggy on consoles in general especially xbox

I only have the 2 gb reserved space option which has all my mods an I would hate to delete that...pls help me what'd I do?

If your on console as a last resort you could wipe your save data If your on xbox you have to delete it from the cloud too so it doesn't sync if your on PC you have alot more options but like I said that's a last resort it could still be bugged even after that

this just started happening to me after an autosave bug. genuinely upset.

If your on Xbox then your just kinda screwed sadly depends on the kinda mods you had but essentially the new update seriously borked some mods and since you can downgrade the version on console your only hope it's either A. The mod devs update the mod or mods causing the issue (witch might still not work) or B. You wipe all mods and start over you could try to reinstall the missing mods and try to load the save but it'll most likely be very buggy and unstable for pc you can just downgrade by following a tutorial ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dDH0iLo6NyE.htmlsi=oBl1bFevXm6T4UGG ) or using a downgrader if you use a downgrader just make sure it's safe and reliable

@@badspyv1nce528 most likely a corrupted saved or just mods try clearing both reserve data if that doesn't work you might have to wipe your saves. I've never had to deal with a corrupted save before so I'm unsure if there are other ways of recovering your game without a hard wipe so I'd suggest doing a little research before taking the nuclear approach.

If you havent yet try uninstalling and installing it could be a corrupted data or save if that's the case then you might have to do a full wipe of your saves but id recommend looking up a video on corrupted saves or something first and see what they say

I installed one mod to the load order I worked on all day. To put in perspective how many mods I had, the only available space I had left was 30 mb. It was perfect, in my 3 hours testing there was only one crash. So when installing this new mod, I exit out accidentally before I sort it in the load order. Then it crashes. And now I can’t get into the game, because it crashes on startup. And this doesn’t video work either. Damn. The only solution I see is clearing all the reserved space, but then there goes that carefully crafted load order.

@@DeamionEdwards all mods were toast and the save point was also bad. Still has some major lag but hasn’t crashed yet.

@@Bla3t i didnt mean nothing bu and i never actually hsd a voice crack before and in my 20s i got puberty early never experienced any of the listed symptoms their just cliches now that im noticing and the thing you said in the video it worked thanks

Addendum. I don't blame the mod, well yes, the mod is what caused the game to sperg out. By don't blame the mod, I really mean, if Bethesda would clean up their broken buggy games, we wouldn't need modders to attempt to fix said broken quests in the first place. Ultimately, this is Bethesda's fault due to not ever fixing the broken quests and bugs.

Bruh same dude ... wtf is wrong with this game it came out like almost 10 years ago and was made for xbox one but it just doesnt run properly. And Bethesda should be sued for giving us an broken game for next gen they will release an update only last gen players like us will stay fucked...
