I didn't notice that crash' first car is different in the psp version compared to the consolea version when i first played it on the ppsspp (note that i played the ps2 version when i was a kid and i don't have it anymore). And also, some arenas were missing (the first one was basically the arena of the castle themed park in the ppsspp instead of the pirates one in the console version and the arena of the dinosaurs themed Park was missing at all)

When I was kid, I got the game on the gamecube version and the graphic was beautiful on the gameplay. Especially, since the frame rate is up to 60fps (mostly threw out the game). However, when I bought it again on the PS2 version last month, I notice there was an immediate frame drop lock to 30fps. So after seeing this video, here is top rank conclusion: #1 - PSP & Gamecube #2 - PS2 & Xbox

the psp is a good port, the gamecube is better, running 60fps, ps2 is more or less, running 30fps, the xbox is a faithful port, but it didn't have the same level as the gamecube.

Gamecube was really powerful and well built console, in some games even slightly better than OG Xbox which has 64mb of DDR ram, before Nintendo decided to neglect the horsepower of their consoles.

yeah imagine if they care for the hardware man..imagine if the nintendo switch is as powerful as the ps4 man, it would have been much better specially for the other ported games like gta trilogy, dbz kakarot, nba 2k, nier and even the nintendo exclusives like bayonetta and xenoblade choronicles series.

It was not more powerful than the OG Xbox, not even close, in fact even the Wii was toe to toe with it. OP just messed up the recording and this game appears blurry because of it, probably forgot to enable progressive scan. Some games can even do 720p on the OG Xbox after all and it can run Half Life 2.

This is just very clever speculations, but this game might be allowed to be added to the backward compatiblity program since it will be owned by Microsoft. Don't put your hopes up though because it's unlikely.

@@Alan2004 Microsoft could actually put all Crash games on Xbox now since all the old games released on the classic Xbox and 360 (best versions of the Titans games). Except the GBA trilogy, Boom Bang and Crash Bash that would require new ports or built in emulation of non-Microsoft systems.

@Manic Panic I'd love for it to happen. The gba duology are honestly made for the gba, so I doubt we'd ever see them again anyway, boom bang. Well, do I need to say more? Bash might get a proper port (not remake) considering how many fans are begging for remake, and lastly, Microsoft could bring ctr for pc and revivie crash on the run. Most of this is just wishful thinking, but making the XBOX/XBOX 360 games playable on the newer xbox's will satisfy me enough.
