For real this is one of my favourite speedruns. It's frenetic, you've got your heart in your mouth the entire time, and this guy is just the best commentator. Unbelievable

This run would have been 5th on the leaderbords and only 4 seconds from 4th. Absolutly mental! All while providing excellent commentary and energy to make it even better to watch. Fantastic work Hypno!

Me and my uncle played this game on the PS1 before he passed on. So many great memories of us dueling in the pvp arenas , driving in circles around each other and trying to drop nitro boxes into each other's path. RIP Mike, I really miss you.

I am never forgetting when i got so mutch better than my big bro at this, that he didn’t beat me at any track. I learned advanced techniques and i was just better than everybody that i know! But this game is so presice. Time trials can be litle annoying!

36:58 To add a little bit of information about this tech, the reason you go so fast is that after a certain point of building up turbos, the integer associated with the reserves counter overflows

Absolutely amazing run. Great to see how many new shortcuts have been found over the last few years. Shame about the Tiny Arena shortcut from around 29:05, it was going so well!

Really good run and the speedrunner was cool too He mentions that he does the run on ps2 and will explain why later, but iirc he didn't mention why he does it

I remember to play this game as a kid like 9 or 10 yo and get all plats and all 1st spots on clock mode. Nice memories ! Also is good to see the game destroyed in ways tahat ive never imagined.

very cool run!!! i only ever played the remake but did play some of the other crash ps1 games as kid, this is incredibly cool to see. the glitch with being able to pull any item reminds of glitch in the mainline ps1 games where you can overflow that game to get crystals and gems before youre supposed to.

I remember when I was young my brothers and I played a lot of this game. I also remember we would try to jump over the finish line in the mines level and one of us got it we were so happy. Thanks gdq for letting this game in as I always enjoy watching it and thanks to the runner for showing of one of my favorite childhood games.
