Nice speed runs with thw slash!!! The slash was my first brushless rc car back in 2012 I ended up selling it and not sticking with the hobby. I just got back in the hobby 9 months ago and now have the rustled 2wd it was brushed now running a 3650 3900kv racerstar and a 120amp surpass hobby esc and I have the jlb 21101 cheetah and just picked up the v3 arrma senton and loving the hobby!!! Thanks for sharing💯😊 I just subed to your channel today.

As note. A cable tie over the Fan cuts the airflow by at least 10%. As thats the size of air intake your taking away, Also youve added plastics on the side of the ESC, This will jkeep heat inside on the ESC. Sides should be open.

I see youve put a few motors in you 9emu. I have a 9emu waiting to be shipped. I'll be running 100c 2s, i may buy a 3s too. What motor do you think? 3665, 3100kv or 3670 3050kv (rocket) or a surpass 3665 3500kv? Im thinking the surpass, its cheapest & has higher kv, idt i need 70mm can most seem to use3650s What pinion is included with the roller? A 3.1mm or 5mm shaft?

Try a centre diff over the slipper clutch, helps put more power to the front wheels like a true AWD

Lower it and get belted tires if you haven't already. I'm at 68 MPH on the stock motor with the tallest gear I can fit in it. Nest step is this motor setup. I am running the Traxxas Xo-1 tires with the Traxxas 17mm adapters. It lays on the ground and hugs the road

my burned out on 3s battery it sucks i run a max10 on my rustler and doesn’t over heat on 3s that’s my next purchase for it stay away from the velineon

Vxl-3s has more power. It's a 200 amp ESC. But limited to 3s max. Mine get's toasty tho. My Hobbywing max10 is a 120 amp ESC. Handles up to 4s. Using a WTF fan on it and it stays cool, like 50°C max on 3s. Good reliable and powerful ESC. I wouldn't buy it again tho. I deeply regret, but that's another story.

I cannot remember the app I used sorry dude it was just a random one from Google play. The motor in this video want do 6s, it's only rated for 3s, I was pushing it with 4s haha

On 4s yes, but on 3s the heating was fine, Its just a cheap hobbywing rebrand called hobbyworks

Its very convincing haha, so far, the only difference i have noticed is the clutch pads, driveshafts are back to front (traxxas still fit) and that's about it

Im running a hobbywing max10 SCT combo in my slash and it pulls 120 on 2s, 180+ on 4s, the issue you're having is lack of down force, and cheap electronics. Find an aerodynamic body, get the LCG chassis, better motor and ESC, and lower the front shocks much as you can. Basically replace the entire car. Ideally, you'd just grab an Ultimate slash 4x4, and go from there 😂

Yes but it can get hot, I'd recommend keeping an eye in the temps, don't gear it too high and possibly run a heat sink and fan 😀

Your phone is acting like a front wing.... it is providing LIFT. You need downforce, not lift. Like others have said, put your body on, and get rid of the front lifting wing (phone). Thank you for the advice 😁 I don't know if you watched all the way through, however, I did take the phone off and tested it again but to no avail, I'll be doing a follow up video, testing some diy methods to keep her planted firmly on the ground. Personally I have never tried speed runs, I've always raced, so I'm always up for good advice! Thanks again 😀

Hang on,am I hearing right ? 33 KPM for a Traxxas and NOT 33 MPH ? Stock $ 100 or LESS wltoys go 40/50/60/70 kph. Well maybe not 70 for $100 as that's like the 124017 /16 or 144010 which are more than $100 but there are definitely some of those cheap Chinese banggood cars from various makes that go faster than that much more expensive Slash and that's using the very cheap lipos and USB charger they come with EDIT I've just looked it up and Traxxas say the brushed slash goes 30+ out the box so it must have been MPH when you got 33

Your problem is you're doing speed runs you need to lower the vehicle

Your phone is making a wing. And this wing is reversed so it pushes the front in the air… You have to understand at these speeds the aero is VERY important. Like a real car.
