proline thumbscrew body mounts and body reinforced with glassfiber tape and rubber glue (shoe goo or similar) where the threads go through for ultimate bashing body.

What shocks are on your slash 4x4? Im looking for some better shocks for my slash. Do you know the model number? Also did your Slash come with those metal rear drive shafts? If not what is the model number for those? Thanks!
I put the erevo brushless edition 2200 vxl motor and esc in mine running dual 3 cells on it . My highest speed yet is 85 not only confirmed by telemetry and traxxas app but also by a local sherriffs radar gun,that was 3/4 throttle with now tms active
This might be helpful, I skateboard, and on my bearings I take off one seal and put it towards the inside of the wheel, so if I need to grease them again I don't have to take off the seal, not sure if you could do that with your rc bearings or not
kev in heavyier cars use atleast nlgi 2 grease in the bearings they will last way longer and have less resistance under load. also keeps water/dirt out better
Do you ever use your rustler anymore Kevin? I just bought the new vxl that came out... inspired by your videos. Do you have short course tires on your rustler? Did you have to change any gearing?

What kv is that motor? I just blew up my vxl I'm thinking about upgrading if Traxxas wants me to pay for a new one. What should I get as a good bashing motor?
What is the differents to a v1 body and v2 v3 kev . I am trying to get a Russian body from rcmaniacs but in a pickup style and he said he is only doing the v1 .. but I don't no the differents and I have put 2.8 wheels on my slash and just want to no if the pickup v1 shell would do the job
Do you plan on gearing it differently to actually reach that speed? Is the weight enough on the front to keep it from just flying off the ground? Can the motor spin that high?! Dunno, but it will be an awesome video either way!
What spur and pinion are you running and what are the part numbers if you had to use 5mm shaft pinion? I’m doing a backslash build right now. Can someone assist me? I’d rather not have to dremel out my Hobbywing shaft down to 3mm.
I noticed you have the GTR shocks because you have a platinum/ultimate edition. The Traxxas springs are TOO SOFT. Check out VG Racing GTR springs. They are way stiffer and made a huge improvement on my slash for bashing and track use.
