Horizon 1: Dead before emergencies arrive. Horizon 2: Broken leg, but more or less fine. Horizon 3, 4: 'Tis but a scratch.

Fh1: Loads of scratches and bumps Fh2: Crinkled foil Fh3: indestructible car Fh4: Strong Car

Well...we know FH1 wins this test.

Damage chart of the four games: Horizon 1: LoTs oF DaMaGE Horizon 2: a good amount of damage Horizon 3: 'tis but a scratch Horizon 4: a fair bit of damage

Nobody: Literally Nobody: Forza Horizon 1: viper slams into wall front first and back is damaged

FH1: Dead on impact FH2: Definitely unconscious but fine FH3-4: Wait I crashed?

So... engine sound weren't the only nerfed thing in FH saga

I hope in fh5 they add a more realistic crashing animation I'd love to see a car tumble and tear apart

I love how it gradually gets worse through the games

After FH 2, the cars are just literally invincible

You should've done the Mustang In Every Game Besides the Viper because the mustang is the "crowd magnet" and it is born to crash

someone please explain me why the Viper In Horizon 4 Sounds Like a Moped Engine on steroids when its supposed to be a Menacing Sounding v10

They really messed up the car sounds

Sound comparison: Horizon 1: The Viper is a mean, vicious, animal. You can hear the anger in its voice, the raw power and energy radiating from every note of the exhaust from idle all the way to redline. The rumbling of the engine at the start shakes your bones, preparing you for the power that is about to kick in. The revs start to climb and you get a sense of dread and a hunger for more. As you shift through the gears the fear goes away and suddenly your previously perceived limits vanish.The sound of the engine and the sense of speed washes over you, like the waves of the ocean. You can feel the power of mother nature and it is all under your control. It is all yours. You fell like everything is possible and there is nothing holding you back anymore. Welcome to Horizon. Horizon 2: Like a retired champion, more restrained, and a bit overshadowed by the newer generation. Fallen from their former glory, but not forgotten. You would be mistaken to assume that they are out of shape or that they are not ready for a fight. Horizon 3: A more muscular and bolder version, certainly appealing but quite lacking when compared to the glorious and raw sound of the original Viper, which was definitely worthy to be a cover car for that game. Horizon 4: The nerve of some people... the utter disrespect towards this icon! The car that introduced me and many others to this series is being shamefully humiliated. All that power, that raw energy has been stripped away. The car that we knew and loved from the first game, the car that we first drove in the original Horizon. The car that got us all pumped up, and left us wanting more. That car we all knew has been restrained throughout the series. Like a dog, that's chained up and starved. The visceral sense of power is all but gone, all that sound that meant so much to us is gone. It has been washed away by the ocean of cosmetic upgrades, emotes, the clean and pristine menu and garage and with all of these, the meaning of Horizon has faded away. The sense of freedom and excitement that I have never experienced before, the uniqueness of the festival and the feeling of it all is gone. The cars, the races, the events, may all still be there but Horizon is more than the sum of its parts. It is an idea, a feeling, like an endless sunset in the summer. Feeling the warmth of the Sun on your skin as it paints everything orange and slowly descends below the horizon. And you feel happy. Because you know that the Sun may be gone for now.. but it will rise again tomorrow. It has been an honor knowing you Horizon. I owe you so much for introducing me to so many things. Cars, music and people. You shaped me into a better person and for that you will always have a special place in my heart. As I am writing this, a tear rolls down my cheek... but I am not sad... I am grateful. I am grateful to say that I have known you. I am grateful that I had a chance to experience beatiful things that I will forever hold in my memory. I wish you all the best in the future. Thank you Horizon! I love you.

Here's a funny reason for the Dodge Viper to get damaged in the back in FH1: The thing was going too fast that it created a solid barrier of air behind it, so when the Viper crashed, the the barrier hit it

I like how the engine sound got better from 1 to 2 and gone a bit down in 3 but then just absolutely crashed, stumbled and died 1.000.000 horrible deaths in FH4

Next do the same, but with the henessey venom, and take it off of a huge jump which makes it land on its side or roof ;)

I've been playing Forza Horizon 1 on my One X with backwards compatibility and have been enjoying it quite a bit it's old but the driving physics feel really good to me for some reason

I don't think people know that car manufacturers nowadays don't want their image be ruined so they make the cars less damageable so that it does'nt ruin the commercial image of the manufacturer or however you say it AND THATS WHY GODDAMMIT
