We are trying to be extremely careful to stay on the top side of the ice. With that being said we drilled and measured the ice every 50 yards for over 2 miles of the river we will start riding. Please be careful and check ice before riding!
We averaged 6" of ice for our fully loaded 2,000 lb rig. We tried keeping our speeds as high as possible in the thinner areas.
