Parents ruin youth sports...always. And the keeper 100% came off his line early. But the ref and other team are "losers" according to a "role model" in the stands

Yes I totally agree! This year we played against Crawford after winning CIF, same exact refs btw. this was a for state, we were winning 2-0 first half, second half came and they came in dirty and the ref was so unfair throughout the whole game, it was ridiculous, and just bc I’m from part of the team, that ref is definitely bias towards Crawford, they are very good, but they start everything from fouls to, till the end of the game, search up Artesia vs Crawford on this same acc.

Anyone with half a brain could see the keeper was well off of his line before the ball was struck on the first PK. Players need to remember there is an R.A. watching the keeper specifically for this infraction. The refs did a good job. Shame on the players and keeper for overreacting and disrespecting the refs. Parents...Listen to some of the comments that were made by you (caught on audio) during the match. It is a high school soccer game! This is not World Cup qualifying. Be an example of what is good about sports not the ugly side.

Yellow team is filled with toxicity and disrespect. If they don’t get their way they try and find a way to get it. Smh if you don’t get a call move on, don’t play selfishly and try to cause destruction because of a call you didn’t like. Like jus smh tbh.
The goalie coming off the line was an easy call. Not sure why everyone was so mad. Good call. I just get sick of Family members that don't understand the sport yelling stuff. One guy yelled "Air Ball" during the penelty kick. That is a basketball term
@@littledaniel6602 It is an offence for ANY player other then the kicker or the goalkeeper to encroach into the penalty area or arc until the ball has been kicked. The penalty arc is there to maintain the required distance between the ball an the other players.

The Goalkeeper dont respect the rules, he must stay on the goal line during the penalty kick. He can move when the striker shoot the ball not before. the referee did his job 😑
Ok. Idk what’s worse. The goalie on the yellow team complaining about getting a yellow for coming off his line (which was beyond obvious and a law that you get a yellow). Or the scumbag parents calling high school kids “losers”.
Respect to the purple goalkeeper With the yellow team he did amazing this match and he did an amazing penalty save that sucks that he threw himself that early.
As a Ref it's good to know. Only those who paid to watch the game can remain on the stands everyone else can be asked to leave. Players appreciate when there R No additional Stressors
From a referee's perspective, this was poor game management. If those tackles at the start of the second half were followed up with yellows, the referee wouldn't have had to deal with players trying to get away with as much towards the end of the game. There was at least another red card in there, too. I understand referee's not wanting to book or send off players at this level, but these kids are old enough to know better. A few yellow cards earlier in the game could've easily saved the affair from descending into chaos.
This is why I don't like referring HS games parents think they know every rule in the book and verbally assault the referees from the stands. I would love to seem them come down to the pitch and put on the yellow shirt and have a go at a game.
5:04 - the penalty. Keeper clearly came off his line with both feet, so ref's call was exactly right. The keeper did not even try to keep one foot on the line, which suggests he did not know the rule, which suggests bad coaching. (I'm a former player, coach, ref, dad, and fan - no connection to either team)
Why are the referees waiting around the field. They know it is heated and they lost control of the game, and they are just asking for an issue. Basketball, Football, Baseball referees leave the field pretty much immediately. THAT DOES NOT HOWEVER EXCUSE THE COACHES GETTING RED CARDS.
The Ref should have ejected someone early in D game. The penalty decision was correct by then the coach was livid & ready for a red ♦️. Supportive parents who know D Rules R great 4 D game
At any level parents are an issue to contend. Parents want kids to accomplish what they did Not. Which adds more expectations /stressors to kids who should be having Fun. Note: Referees Are needed for All levels of the Game. Stay safe & Enjoy the Game
The foul recognition by the referee was way off mainly due to his poor positioning. There were at least 5-6 yellow cards that should have been handed out before the red card. The penalty and the retake was 100% correct, but the players were totally out of line.
@@alextafoya3053 allowing the game to flow within reason. If you are ignoring fouls contact, and also not handing out yellow cards for cautionable offenses you will send the wrong message to both teams.
If the players don't know the rules then they should not be playing. As for abusive parents who haven't got a bloody clue they are the bane of junior soccer and embolden their kids to abuse officials when they should be setting a good example. The goalkeeper must keep one foot on the line until the penalty is TAKEN, not the kickers run up. The kicker cannot fake a kick. The others just not encroach into the penalty area until the ball is kicked. If any of these occur the penalty must be retaken. Coaches that simply do not know the rules of soccer and abuse the referee have no business being involved in the sport.
