Do you remember a couple of years ago when we tested some Crayola Silly Scents markers? They smelled terrible! So we thought we’d torture ourselves again by trying out the Crayola Silly Scents Smashups colored pencils. hehe. But in addition to the smell, how do they color? Would I recommend them for adult coloring or are they just for kids?

This made me look at the remains of the scented crayons I got as a kid - turns out they were Crayola "Magic Scent". Unfortunately they're so old and destroyed I can't read their names anymore, except for "baby powder" on the white one. I remember the black one smelled like car tires and dirt, and either the blue or green one smelled like the tree car air freshener from that time, lol. Even as a kid I'd get headaches from them because the scents were so strong. The Silly Scents pencils sound like much more pleasant scents though, especially since Rose with her super nose came to take a sniff :)

This probably seems corny, but watching your vids is like getting together with an old friend. Let's c what Jennifer is up 2 today. Great review. A bit off topic, but I hate live chat videos, but I love yours. No interrupting everything 2 say hi 2 every single person who jumps on. It could work better to swatch on separate small cards in order to differentiate the scents. No doubt smelling the whole page at once confuses the nose 😅. But kids are gonna get the whole mix when they color 😝

Watching this with my 6yo and now she wants to binge your videos while she draws and colors. She also wants to meet you, so we will have to plan something it's been too long since we last saw each other ❤

As I was watching this video I remembered I had a delivery scheduled today. I checked and it was Coloring Essentials! I've had my eye on this book for awhile, but couldn't really justify the expense as I'm not really a beginner colorist. I snagged one on clearance and with just a quick look, I think I'm going to love this book. Especially being able to try out the different papers you offer at Coloring Bliss and the nice coloring pages that are included. You're talking about where to get these pencils on the video now. I work at our local Walmart and these pencils plus the markers of the same scents are in the back to school aisle. :) I smelled the box and wasn't tempted. LOL

Sniff coffee beans in between - it resets your olfactory receptors - it's why you'll often see cups of coffee beans at the airport perfumery section. 😊

I’m not scent sensitive but when I used the scented flair pens it gave me a slight headache, even though I thought they smelled good, it can be overpowering as you fill a page

If you are smelling lot's of different types of things it helps to have something with a vanilla scent. It helps to reset your nose. It may also help you to not get a headache.

They look like they color better than the 24 colored pencils Leisure Art colored pencils I've got but I really don't like scented utensils.

Not for me since I get headaches with scents quite quickly. That being said it's hilarious that Rose picked out the black which none of you guys liked. Such a dog thing to pick out the worst scent lol!

Do you think you would review the Sharpie dual ended brush markers? It’s the permanent markers with an ultra fine tip but the other tip is a brush

I was interested in them until you said it triggered a headache for you. Like you, I'm sensitive to scents and they can trigger a migraine for me. I love the color names and the colors themselves looke really bright. 😥
