It's better for the youth to be exposed to profanity at an earlier age. When I was about 4 or 5 years old I heard my first expletive and wouldn't stop saying it after I heard it. After multiple warnings my mom took a handful of Dawn dish liquid and covered my tongue with it (I was pretty damn upset as you could imagine). This was one of the many times I was busted for cursing as a child. My sister (on the other hand) hated cursing or anything close to it. The first time I heard her curse was when she was innocently rhyming words with "sucker" until she arrived at something much more inappropriate. She instantly started crying once my mom shot a look at her. She thought she had done something horribly wrong and was very upset that my mom was angry with her. After that I didn't hear her curse again until years later. Now that we're both adults we use expletives quite often but I noticed something interesting. Since I grew up with a vocabulary saturated with profanity I learned when it was appropriate to use said language through trial and error. My sister didn't start using profanity until 3 or 4 years ago and uses profanity every other sentence because she has a difficult time finding other words to use in a pinch. She was never taught the right and wrong place to use profane language which is causing difficulties for her in certain social settings\circles. What I'm trying to say here is don't shelter your kids. Let them see how people interact with one another...unfiltered! Trying to keep your precious child from "corrupting" just makes them easier to corrupt in the future. All children are highly impressionable until the age of 10 or 11. Use that time to teach them right from wrong. Don't just shelter them from the wrong.

They both weren't even close on like 90% of the questions.. so with him being very close. He should have gotten the point. And that's why everyone else thinks he should have too.

And, given the one success and you win rules, and the fact that there is every chance they could have seen these before, (I saw multiple of these before this), I disagree that they should have given it to them.
