This was a MONSTER home run during batting practice. 450 feet? That's how far it would've gone if nothing had gotten in the way, but it hit the support beams of the roof and somehow dropped STRAIGHT down to me. Unreal! And so much fun!
The Houston Astros took on the Cleveland Guardians, and there was action nonstop throughout the day including batting practice. Being in the Crawford Boxes in left field felt like the Home Run Derby.
How many baseballs did I catch? What other fun/weird stuff happened? It's all right here in my Day 2 video from Houston, filmed by "Fenway Chris" (@yonnernyc) on May 24, 2022 -- and edited by me.
