Ah yes, who can forget the storied rivalry of...Ohio State and Georgia? Lol in what world is that a rivalry? They've only played twice in the history of CFB.
I just assumed they were putting it on the same tier of Bama vs Clemson but that’s a stretch too. They meet more than twice in the playoffs and at least have some type of history besides that
@@334ben10 I think the thought behind that one is that they had that run of a few years where they met in the CFP, specifically the National Championship. Still a stretch though, they never play in the regular season.
Equally crazy: The 5:43 mark (Tennessee at Georgia, 10/01/2016) shows only Tennessee’s game-winning Hail Mary as time expired, Georgia had scored a Hail Mary ten seconds earlier to take the lead. (Georgia also coughed up a 17-0 lead in that game).
Interesting choices... no mention of the crazy comebacks in OU-Texas 2 of the last 3 years, but you include 3 games that aren't actual rivalries at the end of it?
Equally crazy: in the first game in the video (Georgia at Auburn, 11/16/2013), Georgia led 38-37 after mounting a 21-point, 4th-quarter comeback. That touchdown gave Auburn the 43-38 win on a 4th-and-18 in the final minute.
Georgia fan. I was at this game and couldnt help but go nuts for Auburn just for the absolute insanity of the play and how insanely loud that stadium got!
4:03 as a life-long, 3rd generation Vols fan I'm not ashamed in the least to admit I cried when that gw kick sailed between those goal posts. So many years of frustration and close calls washed down the drain. At that point I didn't care how the rest of the season went
@Lol-iy8xr yes, we should worry about winning a championship game that we didn't even play in, before worrying about winning a regular season game that we hadn't won in years before that kick. I don't think you fully grasp the order of steps here
I might be biased, because I went to the Third Saturday in October last year. But it has to the most surreal moment in sports. Anyone who was there would tell you. (if you were a volunteer fan of course) It felt like in that moment you were just not apart of the world. Just so much joy in the air.
There are a lot of rivalry games, but Michigan v OSU is THE rivalry game. A lot of Michigan fans, myself included, would count the season as a failure if we won the Natty, but didn’t beat OSU on the way haha. I’m only halfway joking 😅
@@Quillen15 19 million people that watched THE GAME, which is more than the NBA finals and the World Series nearly combined disagree with you. Troll harder.
I'm an old school Pac-10 guy and generally can't stand the SEC, but if you can't appreciate Auburn/Alabama and the insanity that is the Iron Bowl, you aren't a college football fan.
Ole Miss would have had to go for two, or the game would have gone into overtime. I can’t say for sure who would have won if Elijah Moore’s penalty hadn’t backed the kicker up 15 yards.
Wow Who knew that every team that the university of tennessee plays is their rival Must be one intense season Florida state is LSUs rival eh? Hmm I missed that I think they’ve played like twice ever so that’s an intriguing rival Must be a social media rivalry Clicccckkkkkbait
The first clip made me so mad as a UGA fan when it happened. Not only was JHC really stupid by jumping on his teammate and knocking the ball loose, but it was clear holding by the Auburn left tackle before the ball is even thrown.
"Craziest Rivalry Moments in CFB History" but we include a failed end of game toss around, no clips older than the last 7-10 years, and not a single OU-Texas, bedlam, egg bowl, or apple cup highlight? Sorry, but this is a bad video.
Im glad the last video the team that got called for targeting won! That was not targeting! It was saving the game! Football is a joke! Hockey players should be making twice the money as these babies!😂😂
Most of these aren't rivalry games man. All of them are modern, no history really. Just because they play in the same conference it doesn't make the games a rivalry like AU-UA or Mich-OSU. Yes you can say they are conference rivals, but that's not quite the same.
