Yeah even the blowouts. That would be an absolutely insane sequence. Has that ever happened before? Has a very good solid team ever beat down a less talented worse coached team? That would be insane, I’d love to see that. It would truly be a rare and insane occurrence.
I dislike A-Rod immensely but his treatment in that game was over and above. Dempster throwing inside to him three times then plunking him on the fourth, and THEN the umpire decides to do something about it and it's only to issue warnings? Weak. Weak and corrupt. Glad A-Road took the Sox deep. The message was clear the second time Dempster pitched inside. He didn't need a third one and then to plunk A-Rod.
The best part was UrinatingTree's video on the incident shortly after it occurred. If you don't know him, he's a sports RU-vidr and a Pittsburgh native and mega fan, though he's a hell of a lot more self aware than most Pittsburgh sports fans. His video on this play was especially fucking hilarious.
@@xcalixus so during any play, the football canbe tossed or thrown at any point as long as it does not go "forward" towards the goal. These are generally called laterals. For example, if you're at the 50 yard line, you can lateral the ball to anyone on the 50 yard line or behind you. Laterals are not considered passes, but a "loose" ball. That means it is treated as a fumble and anyone can pick it up. The defense in that play picked up the ball and acted as if the game was over, but the play was still live and the offense swatted and recovered the ball. It wasn't until the defense secured the football and stayed on the ground that it was considered "dead" and the game over.
You would think NFL Players would know to keep the ball tucked in close and protected and focus on moving the ball while running downfield until after they have firmly established both feet in the end-zone before any celebrating too, but they clearly don't. Show-boating costs possessions and points. Surely 2 or 3 seconds of self-control waiting celebrate can't be THAT painful.
I played Madden once and from the 1 yard line, ran all the way to the other 1 yard line, fumbled the football, recovered by the defense, who then ran 99 yards back the other way for a TD.
If you look close enough you see him go to start the pitch then stop. Any movement by a pitcher isn't allowed unless it is the pitch or attempted pick off.
I remember that James Jones “double fumble” to this day. The first fumble looked like a good accidental “idea” because he stayed inbounds technically, but the second was a killer, as in killed the drive lol.
9:52 why the heck did Kershaw step back when he caught the ball from the catcher??? Maybe if u had tried to make the tag, u might have got him. Reminded me of the cam Newton super bowl play
Great vid Highlight Reel. If you do make a part 2 to this, you should have the Louisiana Tech vs Mississippi State play where the snapped wasn’t caught by the QB, and it was recovered by LA Tech inside their own 10 when, before the snap, they had the ball inside Mississippi State’s own 10
It must be hugely embarressing as a baseball player, where they stack the field in one direction, because they absolutely know that you don't have the skill to hit it in the other direction.... and you hit it exactly like they thought you would.
Nope, it would become 1st and 10 from that spot actually. The possession changed when Alabama picked up the fumble, and it changed again once Alabama fumbled it and Penn State recovered it.
for sure what i was thinking when the old white dude starts talking smack and all you can say is hes not wrong you may want to rethink your strategies its like right here 13:08 just like after the play your in the huddle with the dude .....yeah bud it was the dance that's why they fucked you up come on you knew this was gonna happen haha
If trying to hawk someone down faster, you have to dive and slap foot to let them trip themselves…..punter for Carolina panthers did it textbook @ 23:40
I don’t know why TV analysts are supposed to sound impartial, it’s so much more interesting to listen to when you can hear their excitement or heartbreak
I never get the one with the first baseman chasing the guy all the way back to home plate. It's a force-out for the third out, just touch the base and the run doesn't count. Even little leaguers don't make that mistake (usually).
Well nobody gives a fuc about soccer but out siders of america. Nobody gives af abt hockey but canadian heads. WWE sequence woudlnt be fun itll be a regular match. Sequences dont happen in boxin or UFC
Man the game between the royals and indians many years ago those birds I wonder if God sent those to help the indians walk it off this was well before they were called the Cleveland Guardians man that is so awesome
There should really be offsides in the NBA. Every other or most sports have it. Just weird that there isn't anything in place, preventing that James play. Probably just because the NBA wants more dunks for TV Ratings. I'm not talking about instituting hardcore offsides, like soccer... But something like NHL would be suitable. The half-court line could be the decider.
I think of there's a lesson to be learned from this video It's that if u hit or almost hit Bautista with a pitch he's bout to hit a home run on ur ass on the next pitch lmao
As if the Butt Fumble by the Jets, not long after TB12 hit Vereen for 83 on the previous Patriots drive, couldn't get any worse, McKnight fumbles the subsequent kickoff and Julian Edelman proceeds to take it for six more Patriots points
