Red Wings 7-0 win over the Avs in game 7 of the western conference finals. Two of the most talented hockey teams of all time, but one was just better. Blowout was so bad that it effectively ended the rivalry.
Dont forget- Patrick Roy's last game with the Canadiens was a blowout loss to the red wings. Roy's last game of his career and with the Avs was a blowout to the wings. De ja vu
@@sportsnstuff5557 Roy actually played one more season in Colorado, losing in first round of playoffs to Minnesota. However, in terms of the playoff rivalry, the Red Wings did get the last laugh and that is beautiful.
@@sportsnstuff5557 11 - 1, and they made him stay in the net for 10 of them, I believe, before they let him off the ice. That's one thing about most Detroit teams over the years. They tend to have game plans that knock the superstars to just pretty good. And it PO'ed a lot of them. Most notably Crosby, Ovechkin, Gretzky, in hockey. Jordan in basketball. That's why teams hated playing them, and how rivalries started.
@@TransparentEclipse OKC has the worst home loss in NBA history AND the worst loss overall in NBA history, and zero championships. Clearly, they are the ones who don't exist.
Dude love these. Don't be afraid to throw some rugby and football into your videos (I'm from UK that's why I say football lol). Madly passionate fans (mostly in Europe where in 1 case, some fans in Turkey went to training sessions with about 100 flares haha), on field and off field fights, biggest tackles, skills, strength. All sorts of content for you
Yeah I was disappointed not so see a single soccer/football game in here. US women 13-0? Tottenham putting 9 on Wigan? United 8-2 Arsenal? Lot of missed opportunities
Nothing, a lot of youtubers recycle videos or put in stuff that shouldn't be in there because they can and people will still watch. It's not like this channel owns any of this content to begin with.
Least you're honest. I remember when I was a kid, we were like a U9 team, and something happened to our opponent, and the opponents of a U15 or so team, as neither showed up for their respective matches, so we played each other, and it was a straight bloodbath. I was in goal that match, and I was an undersized, little athleticism based goalie, but I was super good at reading plays and where the ball would go, so vs people my own age, I could do amazing things. However, I couldn't even touch the top of the net, so being an elementary schooler trying to stop shots by HSers was near impossible. I think we lost like 14-0. It was a bloodbath.
Not only is the thumbnail wrong (it was Colorado that lost to Montreal 10-1, and the picture of the Dallas Stars goalie on top of his goal was from a game that the Stars actually were the ones blowing out another team), the Stars are not even in this entire video haha
Amazing thing about that Baltimore - Texas game, its was the first game of a double header! And yes the Orioles lost the nightcap, but more competitively 9-7.
The first clip: Wes Littleton got the save for Texas in that game. He pitched the last 3 innings to get a save in the most lopsided victory in MLB history. I love this shit.
Or when Cleveland and Drew Carey made a big deal of the Browns coming back and then the Steelers beat them 40-0 in their first game. It set the tone for the next 25 years. 😂
Amazing clips well edited too. Question though, the Uconn women's basketball team beat st Francis 140 to 52 in the first round of the ncaa tournament in 2018. Also, 94 of those points came in the first half, I am just wondering why that wasn't included unless I missed it.
South Korea beat Thailand in the 1998 U18 Asia-Oceania Junior Championships almost unbelievably 92-0. Although a popular theory states that Thailand (already a bottom barrel team with a total of 3:217 goal ratio for the tournament) intentionally threw the game to allow Korea to win the tourney - which required at least an 80-goal margin of victory. However, either way, that's the score on the books.
Maybe I spaced out, but wasn't the thumbnail the shot of a Dallas Stars goalie with a 0-10 Dal v Mtl?? Then in the video it was a Col v Mtl game and no Dallas on the video at all... Im confused.
if you ever do this again with different sports, have a look at australian football, tigers vs cats in 2007, or dockers vs cats also in 2007 (grand final)
0:52: You should see the comments on MLB's upload of that video. It's mostly stuff like "This is an amazing 30-3 win by the Dallas Cowboys over the Baltimore Ravens!" ^^
What about the goalie sitting on the net? That's why I clicked the video. RU-vid needs to crackdown on videos that advertise something that's not even in the video.
