Today I embarked on a journey to 2 interesting malls in greater Kuala Lumpur area. The TRX Exchange mall and The Mines Shopping mall. And there was a boat ride inside one of the malls. Crazy... this is why Malaysia is awesome.

In Malaysia, the development of shopping malls is primarily driven by a mix of private developers, government-linked companies (GLCs), and sometimes joint ventures between private and public entities. So, Malaysian government does not subsidize the malls.

Why malls? Because Malaysia have a LOOOOOOONG history of trading. We have brands all over the world, which our street cant fit. Plus, it is less hot to shop around, running errands, and spend quality time with family. It keeps you dry from the rain. We just have more options, for locals and foreigners. Thats a close call, that aint a pistachios ice cream 😂

@@aroundtheglobeandy u can LRT train kelana jaya line, align at Abdullah Hukum station, got direct connecting bridge to reach The Garden mall then followed by mid valley mall. It's convenient 😊

malls in Malaysia are not only for local people, but also for tourists who like to shop here. maybe we sell it at a slightly cheaper price with the same quality, or maybe batter. for example, my friend from singapore every month comes to malaysia to shop, because it is much more expensive there.

My favourite malls will be the TRX Exchange, Pavillion and Sunway Pyramids Mall. They're my go to spots for some retail therapy. 😊😅

@aroundtheglobeandy Sunway Pyramids is currently going through a major renovation process, but you can still enjoy its waterpark and theme park together with its niche restaurants at the Sunway Resorts Hotel though.😆✌️

The mines. Long lost and forgotten mall.Those days it was pack and full calender of international and big mega expos and exhibition because it has a big hall and large park outside of the mall. Sad to see how it is now.....

Oh wow, that is sad. Times change. Hopefully they can revive it. There's lots of potential, but it will probably require a huge investment
