you can combine them. harder to do after they mature but can still be done. I went from 66 to 30 personally.

@@demaniage You’re welcome and I’m 2 months loc in with lots of budding it’s taking me A while to get adjusted with this stage in my journey because I just came from always perming my hair and wearing wigs like literally from the age of 19 to 35 so it’s like it’s kind of difficult but you know I’m saying I am really like learning this whole process it is light boom having The patience literally last year I had started my life journey and then I lasted for about maybe a month and then I just chopped it all off but I know this time this is like something that I really wanna do like for Myself and my Spiritual walk in life and then I came to realize how much money I was like wasting buying fake hair when I could just grow my hair and save money

@@Resilience251 yeah and once you see constant growth in your hair you’ll love them more and more as time goes by. I remember those super short loc stages, it’s definitely humbling. I hope you stick with it and keep us all updated 🙏🏾. For some reason I feel like a lot of people say their hair is the healthiest it’s ever been when it’s Loc’d, even over loose natural

I actually used the crotchet needle during the 6th month and that sped up the process. For most I say 6-9 months you should be good bro

Yes I showered with them, when I did have a fresh retwist I would use a water proof bonnet. Bought it off of Amazon for like 6$. Just recently I found a good one at kohl’s

I retwist at 4 weeks.. My hair so thick when week 3 hits parts gone 😅

N this set I used finger coil and I crotched. On my new set I used 2 strands

I wanted thicker parts. Thicker parts=Thicker Locs
