@Zepphyrre except her not wanting to give the parrots to him had nothing to do with race. it was because he was clueless on the species & the temperature to keep them at. if i were in her shoes i would do the same & you'd be freaking lying if you said you would. when he mentioned he had birds she said "well, this changes everything" meaning she was willing to give them to him so she knew he was black that time so no race did not matter. it was after the police came she said that.

Lest any of you feel bad for her, you need some context. She spent years pranking us with jump scares, dumping cold water on her husband in the shower, and putting super fine glitter in his pockets which he didn’t find until he was at work. She had this coming lol.

Oh yes the classic animal rescuer move: Killing their own pets! If she loves and cares about an animal, there's absolutely nothing wrong with trying to make sure whoever is taking them will give them a good life. Especially when it's a parrot which can be very high maintainence and have a lot of people who would take them just to make profit because they're very pricy

​@@kenmken if she really loved her parrot, she would have made sure her dog couldn't eat it. That's 100% her fault - it's a dog, it doesn't know any better, but she really should. She's NOT an animal rescuer. At best, she's a selfish person whose desire to have all the pets she likes outweighs her ability to care for her animals. Either she forgot to close the door to the bird room and the dog got into the cage, or she was letting the bird fly around the house with the dog running around. Both are unacceptable and she should be ashamed. If you have a dog, you let the dog outside before you let the bird fly around the house. You don't keep the cage where the dog can get at it and you don't let a bird and a dog hang out in the same room. Not only that, I was getting pretty strong sense of racism from her. Maybe it's just me, I don't know. But if nothing else, at the absolute best, this is an extremely arrogant Karen who is clearly not qualified to have pets. And I have 3 birds, one of which is a rescue. He screams all the time, and I'm not giving up on him. I don't know why she's rehoming, but it can't be because of her living situation if she has a dog! And it can't be money-related if she has a dog. My bird's vet appointments and food combined for a whole year are less than what my Mom paid for 1 vet appointment for her goldendoodle. Combine vet and food bills, and she's easily paying 5 times what all my birds cost me each year. So does she really care about the bird? No. She just wanted to feel good about herself despite giving up on her bird. That's my guess. But if anyone has a good excuse for her, I'm listening.
