That's a very high possibilty, but most people buying this for twenty bucks wouldn't think to check that.. I sure didnt! Lol, thanks for the tip Frequent!

I have none of the problems with mine (except that the first one was beaten up so badly in shipping that Lightake had to send me a replacement). Interestingly, the antenna in this one's Tx is 62mm rather than the 31mm of most. Hated the sticks in the transmitter, so I had to change to other sticks. Otherwise, I like it quite a lot. It's no Super S or U807, but it has surprisingly good power for a 7mm motor quad and also has very quick reflexes. The props are the longest available that have a X5C compatible mount, so keep them for some other 8.5mm quads that could use some better props for more power.

Yeah it would definitely be worth a shot. I'm sure it was a bad connection between the quad and tx, so another tx might be the fix.

Most of the time when those stores sell quads they are crazy overpriced, like double the price! I've seen rcs marked down like that too, tons of missing parts and broken, but they want their money!!

+TheRcSaylors Its the buyers for the stores that try to determine what will be hot sells at Christmas,problem is they do this in july. lol. They have to have everything ordered by then so the orders can be made up and shipped out on time. Buyers dont know anything about RC stuff other than what they read about or hear about. Because of the news,many stores bought into the hype that every kid would want a quad or helicopter for christmas. The actual truth was parents were in no way shape or form going to buy their kid something the news was calling a high risk for crashing into aircraft. That and the big bad boogyman FAA was requiring a parent to register those plane crashing drones in their name,which no parent in his right mind would do. The truth turned out that what they were selling was so cheap and useless it wouldnt even fly in the living room without crashing,that and the $50 plus they were asking for them anyways. I worked in retail for a while so I got a pretty clear picture at how buyers select the Christmas selections,pretty interesting stuff. I wouldnt want that job.
