I wasn't expecting the algorithm to push this video, huh. Anyway, hello and welcome to my channel! This video is just about some of the guest interactions I had while working at Star Tours at Disneyland. I know this won't be everyone's "cup of tea" and that's okay. I normally make skits, films and other miscellaneous videos. Regardless, I thank everyone for watching and these will come out roughly every month or so. Now regarding the background audio; the music was added last minute through the YT editor as I forgot to add it in when editing. I turned it down to the quietest setting so hopefully that solves the issue of it "being too loud." I do apologize to that one (removed) comment that seemed upset about it.
I've never worked at Disney but i know every time i went (it's been 7-8 years) my biggest annoyance was people faking disabilities to skip the lines. I get it, the wait times are long but seeing people running to a ride to go straight to the exit and start limping was borderline disgusting. It was nearly every ride. Love the videos, dude.
Guests were starting to get much worse post-pandemic and it didn't help that the company made it so you can get disablity passes through the app instead of city hall. As you can guess, more people were abusing it because fastpass is gone. Nothing I could do about it but nontheless, thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
Yeah, most days at tours were very business as usual with the occasional idiot over something small like LL, grouping, etc. The crazy stories were very few and far between over the two and half years I knew the attraction. I have way more crazy stories at Auto (which I just released a week ago) and Monorail because I was at those two longer; especially Monorail cause that practically was my home attraction. It was a pleasure working with y’all though. Hopefully nothing too crazy happens because that power outage day back in 2021 was nuts.
Honestly it would be very terrifying being trapped in the ride vehicle with no power for 2 hours. It sounds worse than being trapped in an elevator. You were lucky to be evacuated in a few minutes!
I did feel bad for all the guests in that situtation. Luckily, we were able to get them some water and snacks as well as some free "fastpasses" to whatever ride they wanted. Now, this was just the beginning as wait until I get to my monorail stories. The trains were having so many technical issues when it came back up to when I left in December of 2023. I got towed back to the station/monorail shop at least sixteen times. A few of those times I was in the train for a good few hours, sometimes with guests but other times without them.
