Hey guys! I thought we would mix it up with a candy advent calendar today! I LOVE candy but im not sure is I love this calendar. I paid $60 for it which makes each individual gummy and candy piece $.62 cents. For a very standard (sometimes less than standard) piece of candy I think that is CRAZY expensive! Plus I paid $15 in shipping which if I take that into account it makes each piece almost $.80 cents! Thats very pricey for me! Let me know what you guys think! Love ya!
Candy advent's are ridiculous. It might be better if you could like choose a type of candy to fill the calendar like sour/sweet, gummies vs chocolate, etc.
I don’t think we can blame the staleness of the candy on how long you’ve had it. Regardless of when you buy it, it’s meant to be opened right now. They should be at a good quality point right now.

As Melissa McCarthy said in "The Boss", "Rich people don't trust cheap snacks." 😉 I think $50 of the calendar price is for the packaging -- which is adorable -- and $10 is for the actual candy.
I may not be rich but I ain't eating $1 candy that taste like when burger's get stuck in the back of your throat when you are sick. I hate candy from dollar tree and for the packaging those packagings get expensive especially depending on the design you choose too have which I learned this from Laura Lee off of a episode of fool coverage podcast..
I'd honestly be so pissed if I spent $60/£60 and only got 3 or 4 sweets in each door. Like you said, can get a large bag at the Dollar/Pound shop and only spend $/£24 😂
I’m permanently disabled with chronic pain. pretty much homebound. Your videos cheer me up so dang much. “Cannibal Lector” & the VO regarding it is just so funny.
I am also disabled (since 2014) with chronic pain after a failed spinal surgery. Also essentially homebound, wheelchair bound outside my home. Please remember you aren’t alone in this! It’s difficult for me to push forward some days, living with pain that affects every aspect of life. I remind myself often how much I have to be thankful for. Sending you love and positivity, we truly need it!
Another chronic pain sufferer here! I'm on crutches, with one leg that's in constant pain and doesn't like to work properly at all (knee won't bend, straighten or bear weight - fun!). Like Blondie B said, it's difficult dealing with pain that affects every aspect of your life, but it's also nice to know that we're not alone and still have positive things to enjoy in life too 🥰
And you call yourself an "addict". I worked at a place that sold decadent candies and learned about new better candies by true addicts. Like they were full blown diabetic status. Sorry.
I don't recommend paying what they charge for their more regular gummies, however the more unusual/rare flavours are worth sampling - they do sell little sample baqs, which are way cheaper. Their theming is also en pointe, I bought the limited edition Sanrio ones a number of years ago (they had little Hello Kitty shaped 'Apple Pie' flavoured gummies). Their chocolates & caramels are far more interesting. If you happen to be a gummy fanatic, and ever go to Canada, I recommend trying Squish Candies. I'd class them as 'fancy' candy, but they're better value than Sugarfina. They have a large selection of interesting flavours and cute shapes. Annnnd... I've just written an entire essay on candy. I think maybe I need to find myself a hobby 🤣🤦♀
some of the stuff isn't worth it just because there is a lot of regular flavored gummies and candies however i die for the Brut Rose Champagne Gummy Bears and the Robins Egg Caramels. honestly if you love candy a lot of it is pretty good its not all worth the price but its not all not worth the price either.
I love that whether its make-up or candy, you do such a good job at telling us how you feel about them. I believe you when you tell us feels/tastes off. How can companies make the same candies but so horribly different?
I'm horrified at the price of this! If you added all of those wee sweeties together in one bag, would it even weigh 100g? This must be the most expensive bunch of sweets by weight that you could get 😅 I don't even know if it's worth the sale price 🙈 I'm still really enjoying this series though! I tell you what, if you wanted to refill this advent calendar it would be a perfect one to do for a child or something because it’s already decorated so adorably. Whereas the make up ones are just, well they look like there was make up in them. Lol!

I got this on sale for $30 and feel like it's more reasonable and worth it at that price. Because there are four pieces per day, I've been able to share with my kids too, which is nice. :)
I got this one this year and have been enjoying it so far. I did wait to buy it until Thanksgiving when it was already pretty reduced and through Nordstrom, who never charges for shipping (my general rule for fancy things is to see if Nordstrom has it because they ship for free).

Sugarfina is expensive, but it's pretty good. It's my partner and I's favorite place to get fancy candy from. Plus, I wash out and keep the containers to store small office supplies (like push pins or mini binder clips) and craft supplies.
I know the feeling about Christmas stuff being on sale, bought myself a snowy Christmas tree from Asda for £45, today my daughter treated herself to the same tree for £22.50 and boy is she enjoying telling me 😂
I swear I would never intentionally watch a Candy advent calendar bring unboxed nothing wrong with it just not exciting to me but of course if it’s Alexandria unboxing not only will I watch but I will enjoy!!!! 😊 she can make anything interesting and enjoyable!!! 😁

The sour filled gummy hearts are actually called "Peach Bellini". I almost screamed when I saw it at the website. Also, I'm seriously confused about the prices. The Peach Bellini hearts are supposed to be from Germany, so I did a bit of research and I'm pretty sure I found the original source. Now it's getting crazy. A cube of Peach Bellini hearts on Sugarfina costs $ 8.95 and is 3 - 4 oz (or 22.2 grams). The very same filled sour peach hearts, same ingredients, cost 2,65 EUR ($ 2,79, and that's after taxes) for 175 grams here in Germany. And they must be even cheaper when bought in big bulks.

The fact that I completely forgot those Scooby-Doo gummies existed but knew exactly what you were talking about when you said it though?? You literally unlocked a core memory I forgot I had lol. Those gummies were so good, if they don't exist anymore they really should.
They changed them in 2015. They were getting rid of the artificial flavors so the Scooby Doo isn't opaque anymore and tastes different. Kind of sad because that was definitely the best flavor!
My dad loved whoppers. I was never a big fan of them either. But since he’s been gone, he’s been gone since 2012. I find myself eating them because they bring back so many good memories. Food and music can do that.

You can't blame it "sitting around"for things being stale or flavorless. It was meant to be opened this month and no sooner. It's just overhyped candy. I do love watching you try to describe textures, so I enjoy these unboxings.
