@Eric Rerrud11 must be fun if your so called aces perform well in post season. We can see that giants pitching staff might be fresh or fragile. Experience is there but even those dominant pitchers can do stupid mistakes leading to big L.

Dave Roberts is a bum....I think we would have at least one more ring without Roberts bumbling every damn critical decision. I mean you can't be perfect but in Dave Roberts case, hes almost perfectly wrong.

Give credit to the players because they have got Robert’s there in the playoffs consecutively from time and time again and again, even when we had Don Mattingly. We just didn’t have the right formula to get over the hump for all these years. I like Dave Robert’s as a player, but not as a manager. Too many calls for no reason. I feel like he keeps everyone on a short leash and therefore it doesn’t allow for the team to build up their confidence because they know that if they mess up, they are gonna get yanked out right away. There’s a lot to keep on going on and on, but as for Robert’s it’s like he has something that works during the season and then when critical games matter, he relies on his stats too much and doesn’t go with heart and trust the players and simply makes awful calls

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, it’s just a little funny to me because I feel like sometimes Roberts gets it wrong by relying on his gut feeling rather than stats. Like that incredibly painful time in game five of the 2019 NLDS when he left Kershaw in against Rendon and then Soto in the eighth inning. I hate that he played Smith at first tonight, though.
