Nobody’s perfect Scott, I saw some of the comments you were talking about on that video. Some people just need to get off their high horse. The rest of us think you’re such awesome dude and a positive influence to a lot of people both kids and grownups alike. Good luck to you and the crew. Maybe y’all will be the top 5!!
Hey Scott I’m 13 and I love your videos and the great person you are. I don’t think you will read this or respond but never the less, I would want to come to one of your tournaments or something upon that. I have been watching your Dad for about 2 months but your way more enthusiastic. I live in Tampa and I just started bass fishing about 3 months ago and I love everything about it. I have been in the oceans for all my life but for some reason just love freshwater way better. You have inspired me to keep fishing and become a charter captain or just compete in tournaments for a living. Not in it for the money but for the passion I have for fishing. So over the summer if you have any tournaments I would love to know so I can try to come down for a day or two and support you. Hopefully you have another tournament and I can go to it. Have a good one:)
True story, first time I ever fished Okeechobee, get to the fish camp and my buddies who have been there before keep saying we gotta go to the monkey box cus that's where they always catch em, of course I'm down for that, I wanna catch some fish, so we put in at harney pond canal haul butt towards the monkey box, soon as we turn in the kicker trail the boat starts kicking up mud, 21'6' bay ranger, so guy driving runs the jack plate up and puts the hammer down, we go for about another 250 yds and we came to a screeching halt, nearly ended up on the deck of the boat. Spent the next 6 hours up there working on getting it unstuck, ended up taking 7 guys to rock and heave that thing out. Good Times! Good luck gents, i'm pullin for all of you!
What a great video! 5 friends, who happen to be world class competitive fishermen, hanging out and having a good time. AWESOME!! Loved the stories, loved the smiles and loved the fishing tips. PRICELESS! I know you fish to make a living for you and your families, but I see you fish because you love it and are driven. As a side note John will probably keep that green bean trophy forever, because it came from his fishing buddies. SPECIAL! God Bless you all!
I love watching this show before each tourney. You all need a name like the Elder Googans or something. lol It seems like one or two of you are in the lead or top ten each week.
Brandon go to Burger King and get a burger king crown and use that for the best fisherman of the last tournament they have to wear it during the live feed
This is a local lake to me im going to say a 5 fish bag average is about 12-15 lbs. But i also know for a fact 18 to 22 lb bags are possable you just have to find them. I wish you all the best of luck. Oh and the most important 2 things about Cherokee lake dont get in a hurry , pick it apart and have Fun...
These guys are having too much fun. Has anyone else noticed that Scott is kinda hard on his boats?(Edit) Watched the rest of the video. I take it back... all these guys abuse their boats. Me. I feel bad when I ding the prop.
21:49----Speaking of Luke Clausen, is he still fishing? Haven't seen his name in the standings lately but I haven't been looking for it either. Thanks in advance if you know and can share!
Great video might be a little off topic but I was curious what kind of radios do you guys keep on your bass boats when fishing Lake Kissimmee or Lake Okeechobee is it VHF for Citizens Band UHF just curious to know for when the cell phones don't work
Wow I can't believe he had two boats pass him and not stop I would have stopped if it meant I missed the weight in that's just the code when you're on water it doesn't matter how big or small the water is! I bet karma settled the bill with those two guys that passed you and didn't stop what a dirty thing to do!
It will take about 18lbs a day to win. And 13-14lbs will get you paid I'd say. That's my guess. But theres always a possibility on someone dropping 22-23lb bag. It happens quite often there
my crazy one was my wife and I was fishing night tourament and came up on 6 ladies skinny ok yes nude swimming they where also a b little drunk well no drunk as a skunk and I put trolling motor on high while they keep asking us to join them.... yep crazy oooooo lake was murray
