FYI Tahu walik usually has variation of fillings, where i came from, the filling is similar to the filling of pastel goreng (sometimes mixed rice noodles, onion and carrots, sometimes shredded chicken added in the mix) and you had it with saos pedas asam manis, saos sambal mixed with tomato ketchup and a little vinegar.

FYI, The original Tahu Walik uses chicken meatball dough, but everyone can use any filling according to the ingredients at home. In Banyuwangi, we use petis Madura as the sauce. But you can eat it with any sauce. It's up to you, guys. All delicious.

If you pour the soup into the food, USE spoon, dude. Use your hand only for plain dry rice, not suitable for watery (like rawon, soto) or oily (like nasi goreng) food.

11:57 Tahu Walik actually fold the outside of tofu to inside and the inside to outside. And fry it. Similar like Tahu Isi (Stuffed Tofu) but different, more difficult to make

Yes, right. I think the Tahu isi is more complicated 'cause you have to fry the tofu, cut the vegetables, boil the vermicelli noodles, add seasoning, make flour dough & wrap the tofu with flour. Tahu walik only fry the tofu, turn the inside of the tofu outside, fill it with chicken meatball dough, fry.

Di Indonesia, perpaduan keju & coklat itu sudah sangat biasa. Tapi bagi orang asing itu aneh banget krn bagi mereka Keju itu untuk makanan asin, coklat untuk makanan manis 😂 Begitu juga alpukat, di Indonesia alpukat itu bisa untuk dessert as buah, tapi di luar alpukat itu untuk makanan as sayur.
