I do think that 2-3 days per season, especially if you’re doing a realistic series where everything is slowed down is acceptable.

You could buy a single IBC or bale of hay and just leave it in that spot behind the car at the store. Everything you buy going forward would line up to the left of that and not behind the car. Great video as always Daggerwin.

Daggerwin, you could try the "Map Objects Hider" mod to kindly ask the person to move their car from the dealership delivery space. Maybe they will.

There is another way into that field on the other side through the grass field

8:10 When you mulch, you would put the mulcher on a tractors front attachment so you don't destroy the crop. (At least I think?)

Daggwin you can get a mod that allows you to take a taxi to places you need to go. I think its a called taxi. Its on mod hub and downloadable content in the game it comes under game play

for weight distribution, carry one or two bales in forks. will keep front of machine on the ground. might help

Try reversing in a tight gate. From the side of the fence, trailer first to the opposite side of the fence.

From a realism perspective, you wouldn't bail with your swath that damp. In storage, that damp will lead to the inside of the bail warming up and rotting or having the potential to cause a fire. You'd let it dry out, potentially also turning it as well. The black netting is a visual indicator you're running low and will need to change soon. Either way, loving all the series as ever. Could you use the grass field as an entrypoint for the big machinery?

Youre talking about getting a dirt bike for easy/fast travel but Ive got a question, who in the hell owns all those damn cars at your farm? Use one of those maybe? Another idea is to have a friend (Chainsaw maybe) join you and ride to the store with you so you can bring it back. Just as you would ask a friend/neighbor to do the same IRL. I really like that idea form a realistic standpoint. And Never mind as i continue to watch the video....

I’m sure if you had purchased a piece of equipment, like a tractor, the dealer would be more than willing to pick you up at the farm to go back and pick up the equipment that you left at the dealership.

Just so you know, if you are going to change the days per month after winter, then make sure you change it before you rest in February because it only changes when you change season

Tip for that parked car... Leave something behind it so when shop items spawn it is next to it not behind it

For your next series do the Chipping Norton map that is the clarkson farm map

Get a forklift for the store admins park it behind the car so stuff doesn’t spawn behind it. Also cut the barbed wire remove the fence post. And put a bigger gate in.

Daggerwin there is a variable yeald mod which varies the yeald of the field from 0.5 upto 1.5 times the yeald

you can also drive down and assign a driver to drive the machine for you. It's base game mechanics having a worker drive something somewhere

I'm sorry if I'm coming off as a bit obnoxious but I'm mentioning this again because my comment on the last video went unnoticed but I think it is pretty cool. I found the real Fairhead farm on Google Maps. It is in Northern Ireland and the coordinates are 55.216574, -6.153427 and it looks almost exactly like the one in the game.

The one regret i have is not gotting a bike, balls to them a go get a bike chap.

Hey Daggerwing, great video, as always! I would use the worker system to cart to and from the store or use the taxi mod, and the type of bike you are talking about is called a dirt bike ;-)

Farmers in the uk get a government subsidy you could add £££ to the bank account every year.

Hi daggerwin , if the motorbike is to much moneywise there's a mountain bike mod I think of about £1500 and it goes 24mph I think either that or may e the E-scooter. Much love as always absolutely loving this series.

Man some comments under Daggerwin's videos are really terrible. It's a f****** game, guys, stop the whining about him doing this or not doing that. He's making videos for 10 years now, if you still don't get what his style of playing is, the problem is probably between your chair and your keyboard.

Instead of getting a “cab” or “getting a ride” you could use a trailer the easiest one would probably be the lizard tow trailer that way you can just go pick up the other trailer or piece of equipment instead of walking or whatever

How about investing in getting a greenhouse? Winter it will be very rough without this crop... maybe have an alternative income source in case things go wrong

Once again Daggers has purchased equipment too big for the map he is on and his efforts to save time has cost it instead. Maybe next time park on the road and load over the fence.

You should be able to harvest after time , just ; 1 month - less 50% 2 month - less 75% 3 month - less 90% yeilds That would be more realistic

I’m currently playing the same map - but on the farm way up to the top right - and I had to get a single-axle bale trailer that’s slightly smaller than the one you are struggling with.

I find if there is a spring planting period that the later harvesting time is for that rather than crops planted in the autumn, which has to be harvested earlier in the harvest period. I hope that makes sense

When you mulch , does that make the field- seed bed cultivated or do you then need to cultivate?

If you need to use the 'Tab' key you could say you have used taxi but only between filed or the store

I think you just need a different bale trailer. At least one that is a wagon with a axle at the front and back so you can make it around that narrow countryside

Typically doesn't work on maps, but on this one you can use the object hider to remove the cars on this map.

Are you able to use the worker system on this map to deliver your tractor to and from places? E.G. Store to the farm?

Why don’t you leave the trailer in the road and load from the pasture. You have a tele-handler so it should reach over the fence

Yes this map is very tight. I’m playing it myself and have had to go through multiple vehicles/trailers/implements just to find out ones that fit

You had a "mod" on other sites which enables you to harvest withered crops but they give you much less yield. I don’t remember it’s name, but you could definitely try searching for it.

Having multiple days per month is a good idea, especially when playing with seasons activated. You leave yourself at a lot of risk to weather with 1 day months, and also it is hard to keep up when playing like this and not on 1x. I like to play 5x with 3 day months. Very rarely run out of time. The tab taxi makes sense too. It is how you would have done this in real life. Either someone would drop you off, or you would have took the bus or a cab. Maybe you should downsize the bale trailer to something a little less long?

There's a new Man animal transport truck mod that's either out now or coming out soon that has a capacity of 30 sheep I think it would be a great fit for this farm! Only problem is it's £90,000 but maybe something to save up for in the future?

If I were a farmer IRL, I might realistically clean my equipment and machines periodically.... :)

i played on this map and let me say, super strength was always enabled. So i know how frustrating these fences can be, and if you cant use super strength its borderline impossible.

I feel your pain. This map is almost unusable unless you want to just stick with the small gear.

Perhaps a different trailer for hauling bales. I know you are trying to optimize the ability to carry more, but if you're having problems getting in and out, a smaller trailer is in order

To help in that field you lost the crop in there are openings in the stone wall from the grass field that you can go through from the yard

I think a great mod addition to this series would be the "lubricating grease" mod. It will just add some more in the maintenance side of farming.

id suggest a quadbike over a motoX bike, due to the fact you could use it for running bags and stuff around

Is there a mod That allows the rain to wash off the dirt on your equipment / tractors /vehicles ? at least on the windshields as the wiper is going ? If there isn't one there should be. Would think it would / should be in with the mud mod. Also @ Daggerwin did you ever sell all those logs / timber poles that is beside the shed, might be helpfull for funding the dirtbike. Of course I haven't finished this episode got 1/2 way through , after you got a lift from your " Farmer Neighbor " and started writing this comment 😸.....Hmm just noticed I guess a mod isn't needed @ 22:55 the windshield is clean. or it's just the lighting..sorry for rambling :) Sorry for the continuation ..lol if you do happen to widen the fences / gates please show us how as if it's a non sellable structure most of the time you can't touch it. Sorry just had another thought when you were moving the straw bales. If you pull your trailer up beside the fence on the road side you could possibly load the bales with the JCB over the fence and never have to fight the gate again....this is why I don't comment often I end up writing an essay :)

I dont know if you have it already, but i think you ahould get the lease to own mod on this save, it would be like paying a car payment or something like that

The speed of the animal breeding seems to be unrealistic.

Best keep the grain shed door shut otherwise you may increase the risk of the grain germinating with the damp air.

Hey Daggerwin, just an idea but maybe instead or more days per month you could slow down time to real time, then if needs be have more episodes per day than more days per month.

In field 9 you can get into field 56 instead of using the road

Should get the lizard quad bear on modub an off roading quad is a much more appropriate a farm vehicle for the map area than a dirt bike idea @dagerwin

Buy a bag of seed to leave at the store so machinery doesn't spawn right behind that car.

Need to cut down a fence post in that field entrance

If you buy something cheap and leave it in the spawn point at the shop everything else would be clear of that car.

I'm not sure if in the UK the laws are different but in the US and Canada when hauling a bale spike on a loader it suppose to be 2 to 3 feet from the ground and flat

Maybe you can skip the winter with a 1 day month and the important days a had a 2 day months but it's more realistic to have a side by side to the farms I've worked on

With 1 day months 8 hours is basically 10 days. So not all that far out of the realm of possibility for a crop to wither in that time.

What if you drive further and back in through the gate?

Regretting collecting bales before harvesting oats? More days in the month. Bad move. Have you forgotten that it only works at the beginning of the next season? Why not just reduce your time compression when you need to?

Could get horses and use a horse and I'd you breed them you could sell some too

The map is 'tricky' indeed. No, I would not have done any better with this trailer. I would gone for a smaller bale trailer, to be honest. Or play another map :)

Get a family they can bring and pick you up from the store, running a farm alone is not quite realistic.

Leaving straw out side Isn’t advisable and slightly unrealistic

You need a 2nd player for this series givin that most farms have at least 2 people and you should get the kobouta passenger extension mod

In real life balling in rain is not a good thing
