My jack Russel lived with me for 17 and a half years, I struggle to find a word to describe her....friend. And still she shows up in my dreams to say hello!
I knew one night that my Jack....Parsons...calld Jack biggest Jack you have ever seen .....1/2 the size of a GSD bitch ! was in trouble when we failed to catch the ice cream in the line up with the German Shepherds.........lost him the next day...liver failure......I did not realise it but he was James Bond after all...miss him badly, but there is another Jack in our life now to learn to catch this ice cream in the line up.
I ❤️ my Jack Russell Giles, who displays everything here: determination, stubbornness, focus but most of all personality in spades. Yet sensitive. Beautiful little man, 14 years and counting xx
I've got a jack Russell myself and her name is Millie, she's smart, protect's me, runs around like crazy when she sees me. She just 12 year's in January this year, the best dog I ever owned
Just lost my baby yesterday after 17 years and 4 months. I am so sad and watching videos to help me cope. Hug them tight. They’re so rotten, fun and spunky. Loyal as can be.
Great video! I had a Jack Russel mutt (some Fox Terrier and much more). He was active and also hung on to sticks that I lifted, he was the best living creature in my life. At the age of 14 cancer took him out. RIP Whiskers 2004-2018. Love him forever.
I love my crazy 5 yr old jack, I wish I could own five of them. They can be so annoying and yet so friggin adorable. Craziest breed on the planet that's for sure.
I had three Jack Russells who ran our lives for almost 17 years. Intelligent, feisty, loving dogs. I don’t think I’ll ever own another breed. That’s Scout in the photo with me!

Just sat n watched this video with my 10 year old jack holly, my 11 year old jack tess and 4 year old jack maisey are sleeping next to me, the best friends I’ve ever had, 🐶
I have a parsons terrier....in my new house he suddenly darted off the couch and into kitchen. He stood looking at bottom kitchen door cupboard and wouldnt leave it. When i picked him up and took him into sitting room he sat in front of me staring..just staring at me, he even placed himself infront of tv so i couldnt see it and kept barking till i stood up and went back into kitchen where he again stood in front of cupbard door. I opened the kitchen door to find fresh rat droppings. I had rats in the walls . Ok.. its not snakes and he didn't save my life but he told me i had a problem and he peed on every corner and every blade of grass in my garden. I no longer have rats.
@@tanesharichardson8437 my one used to use her voice to ask to go to the toilet, like growel at you in a talking way. But when I had to sneak out without her I would have to spell to others that I was going out cos she would understand a word and put up a fight to come. Then of course she learnt what the spelling meant, j russels are so smart!
I had two Jack Russell "Terrorist",but they were so good at what their breed excels at, and that is killing rodents, especially rats. I lived near a landfill, with rats, one net I hopped the fence with JR Ferreira, and watched them worked. It was not unusual for them to kill a hundred rats a night. An amazing intelligent buddy to have.
@@caroline-9672 i know....when i get up in morning to get ready for work, if i say to Ben (my terrier) that i am going to work and wont be long he goes into the conservatory and sits underneath the table sulking and god forbid I say that before i let him out for final wee because if i do i cannot get him to come back in..he just sits and looks at me as if to say...naw I'm not coming in, come get me.😁 BUT if he's going to grandads then i dont say anything, i just get ready he goes nuts especially if i get to my final squirt of perfume and have not said i am going to work. He knows then its grandad time and lots of treats time, walks and cups of tea with a biscuit. They love each other so much.
I lost my Frankie , she was the best person I've ever known , I love that girl , she died of lung cancer . but she gave me her 4 puppy children. They are 7 yrs old now and I take good care of her children , I believe the weed control that I used around the fence line killed my puppy daughter . DONT SPRAY PLEASE .
Sorry for your loss Chris, I’m on my third boy, 18yrs, 15yrs, and my Riley is 8yrs now, I was devastated when they left me, I waited about a year before I got Riley but felt I needed to love and be loved by another of these amazing dogs, hope you are able to have another one in the future they are good for your soul, 💕
I have a jack Russel and she is in the last years of her life, sad times ahead. Having said that jack Russell’s are the best dog you could ever wish for. I will have another one god willing
I lost my 2 years old jack russel he has everything a crazy energetic dog full of love , losing him in car accident hás devastated 😢❤ which her Saul rest in paradise
Love my jacks. Your are really beautiful and fun to watch. They are a different type of dog that wins you over so easily. Smart, active, love to explore and very protective.
What a gorgeous family! And I’m so happy to see so many tails NOT cropped! I do have to keep the tip of my jack’s tail trimmed because when it gets long enough to accidentally touch his back he startles and acts like something has landed on him.
Before I ever had a dog, I always thought that I would get a Jack Russel. Like Enzo and Moose in My Dog Skip. But, I heard they were super high energy and I ended up getting Labs. I love my Labs but I've always had a soft spot for Jack Russels. Such smart dogs. I love that one scene in My Dog Skip where Skip is on his elbows inching his way out of the house right behind his partner-in-crime, Willie. One of the best dog movies ever
My jack is ten years old...He has my heart...I have adopted another jack/Yorke mix to learn from him, be a companion to us both, and to adopt some of the things my Jack knows...it is working out well....I can't afford to clone my jack but I can have some of his personality surround another dog to help ease the loss I will feel someday...I love him so much that I am trying to protect my heart from breaking completely in half when he is gone...because I will get to keep some of who he is with me in another dog who loved and learned from him too. They are great companions and the learning is coming along great...absolutely great...I am so glad I adopted another dog from the same breeder who bred my hugely loved jack. .I mainly did this out of self-preservation I honestly don't know if I could ever be happy again after the loss of my Jack Russell Terrier without somehow keeping some sense of the continuation of his personality with me to hug, pet, love up and be with....they both are a huge part of what makes my life happy each and every day.
I am sitting here, watching this video, with my best friend, Harry, sitting on my knee. All dogs are beautiful, but I reckon if God has a dog, it's a Jack Russell.
The energy ... the intelligence ... the fierce loyalty ... but man can they drive you nuts. Especially when they escape from a fenced yard or make a break for the door and beat you. You call them and they actually smile at you as they look back over their shoulder. Then they’re off ... and so are you, chasing them. Seriously though, their worth surpasses any little headaches they might cause. Great dogs.
My husband and I had 5 Jackies. In summer they would swim and play with me for more than an hour after work. We don't have kids. They were my kids. They're gone now. Greetings to everyone who have or has Jackies from South Africa.
We just got a JRT/beagle rescue about 6 months ago. She hates toys, sleeps all day and hates hugs. 😭 Not what I was expecting but we love her just the same!
