They can record in a public building. Even if it's a police station or city building, it's for public use. He has every right to record, and public officials and staff need to identify themselves since they work for the public. He wasn't rude to the staff until they became hostile. Cop can ask for ID all they want, but if no crime was committed, he doesn't have to provide it. It's just a First Amendment audit, and it shows you that everyone has rights that most don't even know about. Keep up the good work, camera guy!

just today me and my friend had an encounter with a karen. keep reading to know my story so today was a festival called holi (celebrated in india) so one day before holi, on the night, we light a huge fire and circle around it and pray. so after i did that, i was with my friend filling my water gun (you shoot water and everyone and color them with colored powder its pretty fun). so some kids were filling their water guns from the pool. and i got near the sidewalk of the pool and a lady comes up and is like "aRe YOu ILlletrAte DOnt u STudY?" we said we were just walking and the karen is like "You thINK i dOnt undeRSTAnd??" and then my friend just called his mom and the karen argued with her.and the security had to be called and they told the karen to go away and she did then.
