I would prefer that the rear of the trailer had rollers similar to what is on a small roll-off container ...Not a fan of the dog ear for a number of reasons , one being the marks left by the dragging them and they will grind down the nothing and on surfaces not level The belt is just too close the the ground...otherwise the trailer is fantastic ....
Wait so you really going to comment and complain like a baby about something he explained in the video? You should watch the entire video before comment fuckin’ weirdo.
A simple fix for the dog ears dragging is use the same poly that is made for plows and you could actually use the same idea a snow pusher uses. Where the side of the boxes have poly that moves up and down just adapt it to this specific trailer just a simple thought maybe a easy solution. Cheers hope she works great for ya!
Could an Off The Shelf poly for a snow pusher be bolted on? Alternatively, rollers like they use on the back end of a motorhome to keep it from scraping the ground. I just ordered a pair of rollers off Amazon for a trailer I'm building earlier this afternoon.. very reasonablely priced.
The sheer aspect of being able to load multiple pallets without having to do the pallet shove is amazing and worth it. Though I would see about getting some rubber bumpers for those dog ears because you can't always rely on workers to be as conscious about not dragging them.
Man does that ever look like that could be so handy for so many things. That tilt is awesome. How many loads get dumped out of a normal dump trailer spread 20 feet. Excellent concept.
Just curious how many pavers got broken when unloading the pallets or if they were roofing tiles seems to me like they would have been cracked I actually saw the pallets shifting the material which kid cause breakage. The other question I have is how often do you have to replace the material on the conveyor seems like it would wear out relatively quickly and I noticed you did it with mulch but what about heavy wet dirt will it push the load off when it weighs 2 to 3 tons.
Love that trailer! Great demonstration. Kudos to the supply yard for allowing you to use their location and materials to do this. Enjoy your videos, all of them from the various industrial shows to the jobsites to Shangra la douche to demonstration of tools and equipment. Thanks for taking us along
@@Dirtmonkey, like always great demo of equipment! Just one question and this might seem dumb, but can you demo putting equipment on this? Does it have ramps or do you just tilt the bed until the ramp is almost touching the ground?
I like the looks of this trailer with the conveyor belt bottom I feel after a little bit of time I would destroy this trailer. I do scrap steel hauling. But there's a lot of people around that are looking for horse manure removal and this trailer would be ideal for that. Also I am worried about the trailer in the fact that if you load a skid steer into your trailer that it could break the Neil down portion
This trailer is absolutely awesome! Happy to be able to see how they last in the long run! Keep up the great work! We did a 15 acre leaf cleanup today, that was a long job! Have a good night!
Think this is AWESOME! And is a game changer when you have restricted access, which many do when working in cities or on houses w/ zero clearance. Very very useful and like how a concrete Co saw an issue and took it upon themselves to build TOOLS to outfit their crews….. It’s how it goes, as with all the tools out there today; there’s still times when you find yourself on a jobsite in a sitch & you adapt, which means Frankensteining something together (I know you reading this have done this…..if been in trades for 20+ yrs….it’s inevitable that you made yourself a tool😉) for getting job done. That’s how dreams are made baby👍🏻 Thx Stan, till the next✌🏻
Very impressed with your review, as well as the triple-functionality of this "Ant's trailer.>>>I don't know if I missed-out on the price, or if it was not mentioned.???P.S.--I had a thought that came to mind when loading different materials.....my thought was if you could install adjustable self-locking tubing across the width of the trailer with a rubber-skirt (or other flexible/durable membrane) hanging down to the floor, that should easily keep the materials from touching at all.
Sorry I hate to say that trailer is limited on what it can do. Deliver 4 palettes of brick sure. Load it up to the 14000# max over and over it will fail. The tilt or dump setup brings all the weight up onto 1 7000# axle. I know this because I make my living with a 14000# max dump trailer. I do like the belt system though, very nice. Use a dump trailer setup and you have a much more reliable trailer
Cool idea, I think this type of innovation is going to be helpful in the field. Just concerned about durability and their track record with their warranty
I live in NH and didn't realize these guys we're out of this area... I would love to work for this company!... They are innovative and built this trailer exactly how I would have in thinking about the end user and productivity!... Send him my way Stan as I would love to be an outside sales rep for them!
Try putting the truck in neutral when pushing the pallet load off along with leaving the skids on the trailer off the ground it won't tear up the road or the pallet
What a HANDY trailer to have! So many uses, AND makes it easier for even 1 person to load, SAFELY. And, like you said, you can't dump on the street. I see this as a big tool for your business!
love it!!!!!!! just see issues hauling my sikd steer in winter? whats the pulling capacity of the conveyor? as in could i start the front tires to the skid steer on and suck it on???? cause i wont have traction at minus 30 celsius... good video !!!!! Hope we meet someday buddy!!!
We have a customer in the upper peninsula of Michigan where they get over 250+ inches of snow a year. I was told he uses it to haul around his skid steer for snow removal. Probably uses the D ring to help it into the trailer when loading and unloading. Could have you talk to him 👍
@@raasio thats impressive accumulation! What about canada though? anybody up here in my neck of the woods running those trailers? I'm in northern BC. Where spent a solid 4 months below minus 30 c this winter
@@HalfCutGarage we have sold to Manitoba and Ontario. We do have a dealer in Vancouver Washington. Quite a few trailers in that area in the past 2 years since he started selling there. You’re farther north than we have sold so I can’t say we have had anyone in those temperatures yet!
bad ass trailer all around - could use plastic replaceable skidplates on dogears - would be very simple to install --- also the guy in the truck was not moving the truck enough for unload ---- but even an idiot could do it right =D
That’s pretty sweet, been a contractor for 25 years and never seen one like that before. Very interesting. I love the Bwise trailers. But this is a real game changer. Thx for sharing.
Interesting tech! A bit obscure, Thanx for showing it off. I'm definitely looking forward to your use & how well it spreads. Didn't hear overall cost? & I've seen some of that type of belt used over the years, some of them outlasted the drive motors, lol!
Does the conveyor system have a neutral gear for when loading pallets you won't have to move the conveyor forward manually & can have pallets sandwich together utilizing as much space possible or if you don't have remote you won't have to get off forklift to move belt forward?
sweet hehehehe I'm going to be calling them definitely I have a huge idea I will be purchase, ing 2 or possibly 4 of them trailer, ers awesome video brother
I can name at least 3 features they didn’t demonstrate. 1. Standard Vehicle loading 2. Loading a vehicle that doesn’t run. “Recovery”. 3. Material side discharge system 4. Loading a pallet by itself
yes, the trailer actually has a point on the front inside of the trailer for hooking up chains & straps to tow things into the trailer while the conveyor belt is in reverse. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Gx2jn5Ascas.html
Brilliant, thinking back on how many trailers of that size I have loaded/unloaded with a shovel working for a gardener in my youth, not kidding. 40 years later and a busted back, no wonder.
Checked this trailer out at their location in New Ipswich, NH. I’m not in the business- just a weekend warrior. But this trailer is awesome!!! Even for hauling and processing firewood!
......and, you could gently unload the firewood so as not to damage the driveway or the customers yard. It would definitely beat unloading by hand and so much faster too.
@@markusthiel7687 check some of the other posts asking the same question. One of the Manufacturer Reps in the video posted the answer. I found the answer after reading through the entire list of posts just after the video aired.
I'm in New Hampshire They have a big concrete company. They use their stuff. Unloading palletized stuff and the stacking when unloading is a game changer. I have a sawmill and firewood operation. You can Unload strapped packs of lumber right where needed. They are a tool as well as a trailer. Stan hit me up if ever in New Hampshire. Bruno Minard Big Meadow Sawmill
There is another company that makes these out west and they are ridiculously high, doesn’t seem as nice as these trailers either. If a man could get the trailer in the video for 20-25k, not a bad buy in this market
Very nice! Sweeps at edges might discourage loose materials from sneaking under the belt? Some users will likely beat up the belt prematurely (broken concrete, sharp scrap and jagged materials). As a user or OEM I'd be looking for an 'armored' belt option. Rubber doubler flaps or cross slats of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene adhered to the belt might do the job. In some ways this is the perfect application for going all electric (intermittent use). Obviously some re-charge discipline would be required. On the other hand a no-run situation with job-site engines is all to common.
He did say that there is a trickle charger that maintains the battery when the truck is running and the gas motor also charges the battery so no re-charging is needed if you use it on a regular basis.
Right up in my neck of the woods!! New Hampshire. I actually just sent this video to my brother who lives in the white mountains. He'll love this trailer. I do but to bad im screwed up from a drunk driver and can't work anymore.
Hey hey Stan, how are things, my cousins and I are done in AC at the shore and we’re at this place called the rainforest cafe, it’s a really cool place, we will watch some when we leave, I’ve seen this somewhere, I think you had a short video showing this off, it looked really cool, I will make sure to catch this video once we leave the whole restaurant, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to talk to ya, have a great night as well, and god bless and go get ‘em, your pal and friend Alexander costa
I knew you would buy one of these as soon as I saw the video of you looking at them 😂😂. Great looking trailer I can think of many many uses for one I'm curious how it would do with logs my dad has a woodmizer saw mill and that would be awesome for getting the logs close to the mill I think.
Love it when people run you through the controls, while firing up the engine, so you can't hear a flicker of what they're trying to explain to you! People love doing that for some reason. Do a dry demo, explain, then kick the motor in the Samuel, and show me it in action!
Freakin awesome...the idea and design of this trailer that came from just a personal build into a company is great! Living the dream fellas, great job!
What a great piece of equipment. You could put delrin or UHMW blocks under those dog ears pretty easy and a chain oiler without much trouble. The utility of rolling off the two kinds of loose material without mixing is great. That tall stack with the kneeling thing is pretty cool too.
@@jamesnm21 you missed the point. Sure you can load any trailer with as many materials as you like, but you'll be shoveling them off, because you won't be able to offload them without them mixing.
