Crazy Military Collecting Stories 

Excellent, I believe that certain collectibles find you for a reason. Like a connection.

I found a rare USN deck jacket in good shape at a local antique store for $50. Found a Schlueter helmet with original paint at a different store for $100. Pawn shops and antique stores have been one of my best ways to find old militaria for inexpensive.

Super cool video JonBoy. This was a great idea. I really enjoy hearing collection stories about how and where items were found. I know for me, part of the fun of collecting is the hunt. Hello JonBoy, I was the one who corrected you on your video in regards to the Enfield No V rifle. It seems like a long time ago. I enjoy your videos.

First, the .50 cals. the red tip is a tracer round and the blue tips are incendiary rounds. the notebook has some great history in it for sure. the 30.40 Krag is a nice rifle for sure. if you ever watch hogans heroes schultz carries a 30.40 Krag not a Mauser. lol hollywood snafu big time but its a fact!! i watch the show all the time on metv and he carries it in every episode. as for the no 5, ive never seen one marked like that and ive sold probably 100 no 1 mk 3s and no 4s. never seen one marked like that with a V. interesting video. thanks for sharing.
