Love the WW1 stuff! all you need is a self aid pouch and bandage case, the E tool and it's cover and an over seas cap.

I got my start cleaning out the WWI Estates... Then went on to WW2... I've been trying to archive all the individuals that I have at this moment. Excellent Start!!!

great stuff! ww1 footwear is hard to come by. the doughboys took their trenchboots home with them and wore them for work shoes until they wore out. your gasmask bag is actually british as its got british style snaps as opposed to lift the dot fasteners. which isnt unusual as, like helmets, the 1st supplies we got were from the british. looks like you could use a ww1 field dressing pouch.

Makes me want to get more WWI stuff myself. Alot of the equipment is the same as what was used in WWII, such as the 1911 holster. Alot of variation too, sometimes they'd have leather gear othertimes you'd get web/canvas gear. Canvas lasts longer. Also for beards, soldiers in remote and thus more unregulated areas do 100% grow their beards, because they have the chance. It's a very 'frontline' look sure, but it can be accurate depending on the circumstance.

Great video JonBoy! Very nice collection of WW1 military items. I love the way those helmets and gas masks display together, looks great. I think your 1911 and trench knife are my favorites though. Jon, a couple of kit items you might want are a bacon tin, condiments tin, overseas cap and campaign hat. As somebody else mentioned, I would go reproduction on the boots. That is about the only thing that is super hard to find. Real ones run several hundred dollars and are not really wearable due to the age of the leather. Good video. Just a note: there will be a WW1 expo at Alvin York state park on April 6 in Pall Mall, TN. I will be the doing living history along with several others. A great free event for those like WW1 history. ,

That collection is so cool lost count how many times I said Wow probably for every item I have started a RU-vid channel recently done a few WW1 British and French impressions just in the middle of doing a WW1 US corpsman should be out next week sometime if you want to look it up I live in UK so finding American gear is not easy

Please don’t keep the gasmask on the foam mannequin the foam on it tends to break down and damage the fabric and leather I’d recommend using a glass one

What things would be on a second lieutenant quartermaster’s belt(late 1944 aka the bulge)

Might not be safe to wear that helmet for an impression due to the asbestos
