The seller is spot on. I remember test driving one of those T Sports when they were new. Defo a lot of fun to drive and so underrated unless you're in the know. Tasteful mods too, dodgy stickers aside..

You're a top guy Cal and made this lads day for sure. As a potential freebie it's a great project for someone to start sorting out its problems , as the last MOT picked up on some costly future repairs. Given that fact I've still entered as that noise is sure to annoy my neighbours 🤣

Yea the advisory list wasn't brilliant but most of them were irrelevant. The "corrosion" was literally just because the MOT tester saw slight rust but it's still solid. Because they saw it, they had to note it down 🙄 but they said it isn't bad whatsoever. I was gunna sort 90% of the advisories after MOTing it but due to work commitments, I didn't have the time to do it, bummer really as I really want this car to live on. Its a solid and cool little thing. Just hope the owner who wins it does sort it on my behalf and keep her going.

@@ZGVlogs Cheers for the open and honest reply , totally unexpected as you'd had the money so really didn't need to respond. To be honest I'm with you on the rust issue but it was only one of a,long list of 'to do's ' and all potentially MOT failures next time.e round if not sorted. If you're a handyman with a little knowledge and a garage I suppose you could keep costs down but for your average bloke dependent on garages there's a major cost involved. Having said all this the car will be free for someone so that sort of negates the cost .

A friend replaced her 1959 Morris Minor with a new Yaris 1.5 T-Sport in 2001. She still has it un-modified, less than 100k miles, great car, puts a smile on her face every time she drives it.

Nice I wanted a Yaris T Sport as I had a Suzuki Ignis Sport its rival Japanese warm hatch years ago - the Yaris TS's rival as they had similar engines with pretty much the same power and I wanted to compare them. Now an Iggy Sport is a car I'd love to see make an appearance on your channel.

I paid 1.9k on my first year for my yaris which was a 1.0, had it for 4.5 years and loved it. Got a 118d f20 2012 M Sport which is very nice but I always wanted a t sport as a run around. Sick car!
