Man this makes me miss my old yaha. Wish I’d never sold it. Yeah it was a d4d, but it was lowered on tein springs with some white 15’s, a stainless exhaust and a tuning box lol. It was a reliable little beast.

Great for ringing it out around the B roads while still keeping hold of your licence - to be honest I think if you got rid of the stickers it would look quite smart.

Tbf I'd say it's a decent price for what it is. Modified ones of these usually go for quite a bit more than stock ones and this ones been done really tastefully 🔥

They are worth how much the next person willing to pay for it, paid silly money for my T sport and was no where as nice as this, but they are super reliable and fun within legal limits...

When you think about it 🤔 it’s on similar acceleration with the old mk 1 and mk2 xr2’s from the 80’s , we thought they where quick cars back then , I did have nice thick hair back then as well lol but anyway the Toyota is no slouch for its size and age 👍

The guy you bought it off is THE T-sport guy. He's done many many a video on that little thing and he's made the most comprehensive series of videos about the car in the world. Not surprised you paid full price, it's like buying John Cooper's mini.

No, you never paid too much.. I sold my yaris tsport in Jul 2020 for 1400 with half the mileage but bodywork needed some attention and air con didn't work! Everything else was good though.. with used car prices gone up, market is around 2000-2500 for a mint one of these nowadays plus you've got alot of expensive aftermarket parts.. those LED lights are worth £300 alone, and probably another £1-200 for spoiler, and another £2-300 for the wheels so if you was to put it back to near standard and sell the parts, it would've been a bargain for a 9 sec car..

Is it really that expensive? Just over 2k for a well looked after, reliable and desirable car that’s future proof (good on fuel and ulez complaint), got a grands worth of tasteful mods and £50 worth of stupid stickers. All while the used car market is up. Doesn’t sound like a bad deal to me.

Didn't over pay these keep going up and up, the rear lights are starting to fetch £450 alone, parts for these are rare and expensive I mean I paid all in 800 for a mid spoiler for one, mines sat on 125k and gets driver hard daily

Cars like this don't need to be quick....they're just fun to drive..MX5 is the same. You can make these cars quick with proper hard mods (ie: intercooler, big turbo, water-meth or NOs) but it's not necessary, take it on some country roads and you know you can have some fun while being in a car that still has an ENCAP rating higher than 3 stars.
