What do you do to planes after you fly them on your channel? You must have too many planes to fit in your house.

This plane is indeed a lot of fun, I have it for almost a year now. Pretty sure you were not flying in beginner mode, as then it would be self leveling and have about 45 degree max bank angle. Since the gyro is working, I suspect you were flying in gyro mode, which allows full aerobatics, but like AS3X tries to smoothen out the plane when there is turbulence, etc. There is also a full manual mode, where the gyro does nothing, as well as a stunt training mode, called acro mode, where the plane does self level, but you can do rolls and loops. And there is also a vertical mode where the gyro helps to keep the plane in the correct orientation, like the X520 has in vertical mode. Plane definitely doesn't like wind, it has a ton of drag, and the flat wings don't help either.

That's the one I got with the battery placed under the fuse this time and everything is just either bolt on or click and go flying. Its VERY smooth , a little touchy on the ailerons but easy to learn especially with such stabilisation.. she is AMMMMMAAAAZING

Amazon says Mfg Recommended age 14 - 70 years. I'm over 70 so there's one I'm not allowed to buy. Whew! Saved some bucks on that one. It was a great morning for flying here, I flew 3 planes for over 2 1/2 hours. No crashes and no flying on safe mode. I'm a new (since covid 19) pilot so quite happy with my progress. Took the UMX Aero Commander up on her maiden flight, slightly bent the front steering gear on the dirt landing, nothing serious. That nose wheel is a weak point as far as I can tell. I want to see you with spare rubber bands next time and do a proper shake down on that plane. Find out what all the switches are for and demonstrate them. Maybe some more tricks and inverted flight time too. Nice job Abby! Abby I see no reason you couldn't fly that plane right now. It's slow and quite manageable from what Nate said. Take the transmitter and go for it. 🙂

Can't do this one, but it's cool. I'm kinda in the middle of the 2000mm 9 or 10 channel B-25 that may or may not fit in my house... or 2-door Civic. My wife politely asked if I would hold off on airplanes for a bit... not counting that F-22 micro or the Freewing ME-262 that might appear at the field tomorrow. Yeah... Nice 3D plane though.😁🤣😂🤣😂

A very funky looking plane, but performs as well or better than others of the same size. Who coulda thunk it could stunt fly. Nate speechless, never gonna happen. 😁😁. Great to see you fly this. Heard the manual was confusing though and modes were an issue, also we hardly ever have calm wind days here on the west coast of Scotland/Stornoway. So it's a miss for me. I fly 3 to 4cell aircraft which copes with our 10mph+ winds. Great flying Nate. Great narration Abby. Thanks guys.❤️

I have been hoping for a review from you on this type of plane. They are not models people drool over, I think, they’re the best thing to extend your skill level, once you have learned basic flying. I have the HobbyKing Hummer, it’s a bigger EPP profile plane, & my favourite to fly. It’s hard to compare the price of your plane against mine, as the Hummer comes only as a kit, without any electronics & a lot more assembly to do. But it is budget friendly, & a lot of fun.

I've seen those planes and they always looked so cheap, but it flies great! Reminds me of the old U-control line planes. (anyone remember those?) There were short planes with fat wings made similarly we called "pigs". Anyway just reminds me of those everyone flew those and did dog fights with them. Really telling my age! I'd love to know if anyone else did u-control planes.

This is an interesting plane. If you look on amazon and zoom the 4th thumbnail down you will see that there are 5 flight modes that can be selected. In the verbiage for the "Stabilize Mode" it indicates that this mode is "suitable for beginners". Ps. I really like that it has a brushless motor. This is a big deal to me as I'm determined not to buy any more brushed motor planes.

Yeah I'm having troubles figuring out the flight modes so far. Maybe they have to be selected while on the ground? Only one flight in though, but I love this thing 😃👍😎⚓

@@TheRcSaylors The one through Amazon appears to come with a more hobby grade looking TX; maybe it also comes with flight instructions? That would be great if it did. I'm thinking that if one could figure out the 5 flight modes they'd have a plane that they could fly as a beginner and work their way up to be a much more capable RC pilot. An investment in one plane as opposed to 3-4 planes and a flight simulator would make the cost of this plane a real bargain in the long run.

I don't like profile planes until I got this dancing wings pink and white with checkerboard pattern 3d profile plane. It came with everything including motor and esc and servos and all only thing I had to supply was the recover and transmitter which I have and run spektrum it has no gyros or stabilization and I never done a 3d plane before and it was simple to fly and easy to just flip sticks all over and just do crazzy random stuff and recovery is very easy. I got this plane andan it's fun and would have been a better trainer but now I can fly the one in video in my living room lol hovering and slow rolling harriers. My fiance get so bugged by it and annoyed when I fly it in the house while sitting on the couch haha. Also who else does fpv from their couch inside in the Air conditioning. I have no neighbors for 2 miles and huge 10 acre yard that has no trees at all all wide open and then the tree line is about 1200 yds away so plenty of room so I don't damage property or injure or seriously hurt a innocent bystander but it's so much fun kicked back on recliner fpv goggles on some music playing on ear buds through my phone and a big 88 inch wing span balsa and fiber glass powered glider with a giant 10,000 mah 8s battery. I can fly for 3.2 hours is the longest I have flown before I got tired of flying lol and that was only half of the battery's charge so I probably had another 1.5-2.5 hours at most before I had to get ready to line up and land.

Hmm. Got mine from Amazon today. Some weird stuff with shipping, but still got it before original expected date. No place for my battery above wing. Only ahead of aileron servo under wing and it seems very nose heavy like that. Out of the box with insane amount of tape (that removes paint) removed, entire fuse is twisted. You did mention lack of instructions, and there are none that apply to assembly or control options. To late to try flying it tonight, but my hopes for this bird are fading fast. I've been flying long enough to know they all crash eventually, but this is looking more like a DC-10, guaranteed to go down, (shameless Bloodhound Gang reference) than I expected. If I didn't have my PowerLab 6, I'd have to go to Europa to use the included charger because the cord that came with it doesn't work in the United States of Freedom or Oh Canada for that matter! And the battery? Three lead balance plug says 2s to me, but the sticker says it's a 660mah 30c 2s,3s,4s,5s and 6s??? LoL 🤣 I'll have what she's smokin!

Are you able to place an order to your door? Take the pizza out of the box and place it in the oven. Dispose of the box, wash your hands, and enjoy!! 😃👍😎⚓ Just a suggestion, not telling you to do that. That's what we do and it makes us feel a bit safer, compared to eating in a restaurant for example.

Love the channel love how are you and Abby get out there and fly and that she’s getting into flying more hopefully in the future see you and her fly in formation LOL.. Well I just wanted to touch bases and let y’all know that I bought a six intruder from motion RC it was either that or the saber those were the only two on my first EDF yes a little pricey but they said I will love it and plus I fly helicopters as well.. And I would like to see y’all get one of those 86 intruders and try it out the price is pretty good I’m going to put a Ar 637t receiver in it I have the DX-8E and I love it .. keep flying and stay safe .. oh and yes I did say y’all because I’m down here in Texas LOL southern thing..😋

It's a fun plane indeed. But this is not beginner mode. The switch combinations to select each of the 5(!) flight modes can be confusing. But if you can do vertical hover, knife edge and rolls, you are in either acro mode with gyro assist (there is even an acro mode with self leveling, so bit like Horizon Mode with quadcopters), or "pure" mode with no gyro at all. Can you disassemble the wings again, for even easier transport, like in a backpack? I got really interested in this, so I checked some other, earlier vids, but on those the wing where supposed to be glued, no buttons, so it seems to have been updated lately.

The buttons should be able to come apart, but the fit is quite tight.

I made a 3d plane from epp about 15 years ago, learned to fly 3d with it and it is still flying ( many servos and batteries later lol ). No stabilization back then of coure. I did add a 3 axis gyro but found it not to my liking so removed it.

Thanks! Yeah this was about $150 on banggood where we originally linked but it sold out quickly. Then amazon had it for about $190 or so, but sounds like supply and demand made the price go up some. Hopefully more places get it back in stock. Thanks for watching 👍😃😎⚓

Hey Faze! Sadly we cant afford to just give things away to strangers that weve worked really hard for. When I was younger, I mowed yards of neighbors and helped wash cars and clean houses to earn enough money to buy things I wanted. Since then I've always had a job to pay for the things I need and want. I've never asked anyone for a free handout and I dont believe I ever will. I encourage you to find the motivation to do the same! It will get you much further in life than begging for handouts.

@@paultang8766 no sh!t, on a TV screen with garbage unrealistic physics lol. You can't practice flying on gta v and get anything out of it except your time wasted. You can't just fly rc after practicing on gta v, plus the planes handle unrealistically. A good flight simulator for pc is like half the price of a ps4 with the transmitter included and you are actually learning something you can use while you play.
