It was an A.I. robot. I'm not sure why. But the scammer may be testing new technology. So you may expect to see more of these in the future, once they figure out how to do it correctly.
You are right these scum bags will often dail random numbers until they get a victim once they do they will continue to call and harass their victims mostly elderly people.
First time you said your name was Mary, and the bot asked what your last name was, I expected you to say "Poppins". How the hell they expect to scam anyone with that stupid recording is beyond me!
Sounds like a computer generated voice. I think their system messed up and it kept running in a loop back to your name. It works by recording your voice as the phone picks up. Then it plays the computerized response with the name it recorded input into it. This is why I always tell people to NEVER answer ANY scammer call these days because most are using automated voice recorders to record you saying hello, yes, and other words. They then use that recording of you to input into the voice prompts when they attempt to access your bank accounts or accounts via the phone.
Whenever they call me I usually pick up right away and use an alias, but I would imagine one day they might get nefarious enough to know your real info. The scams have definitely changed since I first started messing with them back in like 2013.
@@Defender78 Really scary.. I have gotten so many calls for my student loan to be forgiven... I don't have a student loan. But they sound American and legit. If I did have a student loan and applied for it to be forgiven, I might believe it. They just have to keep calling until they find someone who does...I hate evil people.
I love your videos. I appreciate a lot the awareness that you bring forth regarding these scams. In regards to this call, this is a very strange call. It's very creepy.
OMG, it is so scary to think our world is coming to these types of calls. What will they think of next to get our money . Keep up the great work, your friends from Canada 👍
That's definitely a bot. It's either to reduce the number of scammers in the call center and let the bosses keep more money by having machines do the work or it's a way for scammers to fight back against scam baiters
I have seen scam-bait content creators on RU-vid use a similar looping chat program to screw with scammers and waste their time... Although theirs are usually a lot more elaborate, taking 5+ minutes to loop, usually sounding like a senile oldan or woman rambling on about their grandchildren before looping. This loop was so short it was easy to identify it as a recorded loop.
He put her on the recording and then went back to bed with his new white girl that answered his phone out of jealousy so he actually chose B.O.M.Which stands for BITCHES OVER MONEY💰instead of choosing M.O.B. Which stands for MONEY OVER BITCHES! He chose pleasure over business 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
I got this same phone call the other week ago and was flabbergasted as to why they kept saying the same thing over and over again! I eventually hung up.
Julie has such charisma. She is perfect for broadcast. BBB Wisconsin. Prepare to loose her… … to .. ?? TV, film, Bollywood! …politics.. no not that last one….
setup a Google voice account and number ..then outbound call from that number so you don't have to block caller ID...then just trash the number when you are done using it.
I think someone is there, recording her voice. When she first connected and said hello, it replayed in her voice. If I'm right (I'm not sure) they can use a recording of your voice to get you into trouble (make bank accounts, credit cards, etc)
Not that you need any tips from me, but be sure in your tags/description, you use terms like "scambaiting" or "scambaiter," you'll get thousands of views!
Thanks Julie !U are awesome!!! Please open the TV Chanel to educate !!! It must be a billboard Beware oft the Scoundrels 🙏🏻🙏🏻.. It should be a Movie ! Best educational and funny 😂😂
In 2011 this happened to me and the real person was so stupid , he's number showed up on my phone , so I Googled it and a company in FLORIDA showed up on GOOGLE SEARCH, and I called the company and a secretary answerd and no such thing happening here , so I checked the number online over 1.000.00 people had complaints from that number ,

This is VERY Bizarre AI on an auto loop. This is a recorded & copied voice and AT THE Start of the call - you hear a LOT of people talking then this "thing" takes over - it is activated. NO ONE is monitoring the AI that is designed to HOLD the Target until a "person" takes over. This is VERY common is auto scam calls now. The AI is on many systems. UNREAL the process of scamming is VERY technical. Someone Missed the Alarm to pick up as "another agent". Thanks for the videos and info. Be Safe & Well. In production you see a wide variety of AI.
