I love to eat grasshopper too. When I use to live in the farm, my grandpa and grandma we use to catched them. First we take out the wings, the feet, and then wash them. Second, we boil them with little water depending on how much grasshopper you have to cook and add salt with Ginger for about few minutes. Thirdly we roasted them sprinkle a some oil and herbs until they are cranchy and aromatic. Its so good. This is what john the Babtist has been eating in the wilderness when he was roaming the desert. Read The book of Lavitucus in the Bible. It mentioned grasshopper that it is Edible to eat and it provide Protien for the body and these insect do not shedding blood when being taken out their wings and feet.

I'm Ugandan those are grasshoppers, a common delicacy. They have a season every year, that's when you find most of them being sold.

You should not ever drink tap water especially in other countries, it causes more problems than your own back home. Trust me.

In central African republic 🇨🇫, we call it “ quinda ngozo “ in sango our local and national language spoken all over the country.

These are a great delicacy in Cameroon as well! Roast them till they're crispy adding a little salt, some chopped garlic and ginger. Eat them with bread and you'd instantly forget your problems
