There is a special "move" for getting the battery off the drill. You push hard for a short moment with the palm of your hand holding the drill. Meanwhile you pull with the other hand. Once you get used to it it will work super good!
I don"t use a drill to drive any type of fastener any more I upgraded to impact drivers with my 30+ years of working with my hands I find them much more control driving fasteners ( I do still overdrive at times but less than with a drill. ) .
Congrats in a very nice review! I advice to using earplugs that thing gets loud! I have this little beast for over 3 years now , but with the hd batteries (more compact than the regular ones and they come also with chip regulated charging ) i drill masonry and metal usually only drawback is that it is heavier than other brands like dewalt, and a little slower on rpm but that thing is strong without the side handle it can turn you around instead of the screw. I am thinking of buying the ltx-3 with hammer function like this one you think its worth the extra rpm ? I am hoping to drill masonry faster. I am looking forward to the comparison video with other brands! Keep up the good work!
13:15 you should make a T-block for that machinist vise. Then you could mount it in your wood vise to hold it while you use it for metal work. I have done this with all my vises for this bench.
Great day for a wedding really happy that you chose not to watch the rugby your better off having a wonderful day rather than watching your team get a beating. Congratulations or is it commiserations. Only kidding have a fabulous day, from the UK.
Great review. But don't forget your ear defenders, otherwise you won't be able to hear your wife's nagging in twenty years time. Best wishes to you both, from the Uk.
Heya bud... been following you for a while. This Metabo has come up for Sale on gumtree with proof of purchase. 6m old for 4k. 2 x 5amph batteries. I have a 5 other cordless drills including 2 Brushless ryobi 18v. And advice please
If it is indeed the same drill it would be a good price. I have a few drills but there are a few jobs I can only do with my LTX. It is a very powerful cordless.
Please don't end up a simple advert channel - I know it must be tempting but there are already so many on you-tube and they just get boring and repetitive - if I want to watch ad's I can do that anywhere. As it happens I go out of my way to avoid ads ... and this sounds like a promo video direct from the manufacturers site.
Thanks! Believe me my channel means way too much to me to let it slip into something like that. My main objective with my channel is to build and share my designs. However, leading up to my wedding I didn't have much time to work on new designs (which can be very time consuming). As for the review, it might come across as a promo but I purchased the drill and it really is a great product. I am back from honeymoon now and I will be jumping in with some new content very soon.
I am forced to be a Makita fanboy. The rest is too much Chinesium or way too overpriced here. But I can't complain. Biggest letdown so far has been a DeWalt. Fool me once f.u.! Picked up a used Metabo angle grinder, which is good stuff, in my country of birth. But Metabo in Paraguay are in the ridiculously overpriced range here. Like they are made of gold.
