After watching Pugg being emotionally devastated with Society of the Snow and The Iron Claw, this is just the kind of palette cleanser reaction we needed.
8:13 Cal reminds Jacob of his own father. During the conversation between Hannah and Jacob at his house he talks about what a sweet guy his dad was and the relationship his parents had. I think he reaches out to Cal cause he lost his dad but feels for Cal in his lowest moment. 17:00 “Can you spell that?” She did lol
The fact that Jacob in the space of about 5 seconds registers that the new arrival is the man who ostensibly ruined his best friend’s marriage and instantly just clocks the guy is my favorite part. The fact that he’s fighting with Cal instantly gets set aside and he starts TCB.
The more & more tea got revealed the lower and lower you sank in your chair while the cracker consumption increased 🤣 that was hilarious cuz same when I first watched this. Great film, great reaction
This movie is a gem, and it was so much fun to see your response to each layer of everyone's connection being revealed. Your edits of American Psycho were really clever and such a funny contrast to that velcro wallet scene. (And yeah, Robbie was definitely giving off future serial killer vibes.) I'm so glad I found your channel, and it's now the first one I check for new uploads. Love your content, and thanks for another great reaction!
He is not AI generated in any movie and his trainer says he is the easiest person to work with and is really dedicated. He is bigger in "The Gray Man" and when an interviewer asked how he did it he said, "I couldn't eat a lot of the things I really like and I had to pick up a lot of really heavy stuff."
Emma and Ryan's first movie of 3 together. In the scene with the Dirty Dancing lift she had a panic attack. When she was 7 she was in a gymnastics class and standing on the parallel bars about 6 feet up and the teacher let go of her ankles. She fell and broke both arms. She had no idea it would cause a panic attack. She let Ryan describe what happened and he said the thought it would be like catching a rabid raccoon. They had to stop shooting and he said she had to go watch a movie. After that they used a stand in.
1) Never used a Velcro Wallet since 2011 (this movie😂 2) 4:28 The chemistry between them in this and in 1 or two other movies was so good that reportedly Eve Mendes didn't want Ryan to act with Emma again..
Such a great movie! Honestly maybe my favorite rom com. The way everything comes together is wild. Nothing like seeing that for the first time lol. I think this was the beginning of Emma and Ryan working together. Now they've done about 47 movies together. I haven't seen them all but I've liked every one that I've seen
The excitement I felt when I saw that you're reacting to this movie, after watching your Dirty Dancing reaction, only meant that I was going to enjoy tf outta this reaction. And I was right. Your emote to seeing a younger Ryan Gosling topless? Hilarious!!
9:43 You choose a wallet with a good designed not only functionally a good size but also the diamond over it going a bit above the average manly wallet. It's a wallet that's fashionably and shows you have money without the need to flaunt. It's effortlessly wealthy. Also mint really is the best
I saw this movie in the theatre the summer i got divorced...i think it got me through that first year. ironically it's now my "go to" movie whenever i bring a girl home that likes Rom-Com's and has never seen it! Circle of Life!!! 😁😂🤣
The thing that always baffles me is how the ending scene where Jessica gives Robbie her naked pictures is absolutely insane. If gender roles were reversed this movie would have been canceled a year before the premiere lol. And the actual scene doesn't even make reaction cuts usually it feels so benign to everyone.
@@FireNooodles Producing and spreading CP is usually a crime in and of itself. In addition, depending on the state, she could be charged under a law like this: RCW 9A.44.086 *Child molestation in the second degree* (1) A person is guilty of child molestation in the second degree when the person has, or knowingly causes another person under the age of eighteen to have, *sexual contact with another who is at least twelve years old but less than fourteen years old and the perpetrator is at least thirty-six months older than the victim.* (2) Child molestation in the second degree is a class B felony ⬆️ Robbie is 13 years old. Jessica is 17. That means she is more than 36 months older than him. Giving him those pictures absolutely constitutes as "sexual contact" Now, I don't know where they live. The law I quoted above is from Washington state. I'm not an expert on US law (I don't even live there) or a lawyer so I obviously can't speak to the details of this fictional situation. But, you know, you shouldn't do that either since you clearly don't know what you are talking about when you refer to "legal standards" 🤔🤔 Also, I urge you to consider that legality does not always equal morality. Even if they lived in a state where this was legal, it would still be "wrong" because she is much older and also in an authority position over him as his babysitter
Your reaction to this movie was amazing 😂 I love that you enjoyed the movie so much, it’s a good one! Edit: also that smash cut of American Psycho was EVerYthING! 👏🏻
Omg finally he named Emma stone the right name If your og yours would remember when puggapillar said in amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 he got it wrong saying emma Watson
This was great! Love this movie I’ve been with my husband for 12 years and even though every marriage goes through ruts I could never imagine doing this to him! Poor Steve 😢 my favorite Emma & Ryan movie !! 🍿 once again an amazing reaction! Happy valentines love ya man!! ❤ love your wife too we need more collabs
I legitimately don't know how someone could watch that wallet edit with the American Psycho clips and not subscribe?? Tysm Edit: that being said, I recommend Ridge Wallets 😂
This is such a good, solid movie, I watched it for the first time back in 2012 and have loved it ever since. I don't usually like romcoms, but this one is my exception.
This was around the time that I was growing out of rom-coms s but I simply adore this movie. My mom even likes this movie. I think the casting was great and I like that we don't suspect anything about Emma Stone's character being related to Steve Carell's character. The only part I get confused about is when the kind of ex-wife and their friends think he's the bad person because he's going out and living his life and treat him like he's in the wrong. Even though she's the one who cheated on him while they were married. That part of this movie I absolutely hate because she was in the wrong and the moments when he is living, learning and becoming..I guess himself, he gets berated for it even though; during this time they were full on separated. Other than that, I really love this movie.
This movie probably wouldve been more well known and done better had it been called "Wing Man" or something like that cause alot of people who like this type of comedy might be turned off by the title thinking its just some regular romance movie
Cal and Emily better off as co parents. Besides Emily get away with she commit adultery with another guy and want divorce. Emily is the reason of tear her family apart because she hook up with another man behind father of her children's back.
1. Those 407s were somewhere between $50 and $75. 2. Your wallet is NOT manly. Why is it so shiny? Ick. 3. I turned off the video because you, in fact are Steve's character and don't even realize it. Your commentary ruined the reaction.
Didn’t your parent not teach you, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all”? & there’s nothing wrong with being a Cal. Women actually prefer it.
