Seth and I were friends in the mid 80’s and reconnected in 2010. I had been sober almost 15 years by the and we went to an AA meeting together in Hollywood. Got to be around him during one of his sober times and it was awesome. Many fun memories with him from our childhood. Miss him.
Shifty was an amazing person and his Aunt Rozz saved my life the first time as my drug counselor. I love you brother, thank you for the music and the love.
He definitely had a big heart and it was real. Unfortunately it’s the good souls that the drugs always take how many people do we have to see fall before we realize this $hit is intentional the drugs I mean. We are literally flooded with it anyone that believes that it can’t be stopped is just delusional
@jonathansonnier3078 100%!! Our government is complicit. During the early 1980s, South-Central gangs established the first street sale networks for crack, a cheaper, more addictive form of cocaine than the powdered variety. Many blacks have long argued that there had to be a conspiracy by government forces to allow so much of the drug to flood vulnerable, impoverished neighborhoods. Nothing has changed. Drugs are big business and help keep the prison industrial complex turning.
Really sad and eerie that I discovered all of his discography the day before he passed. Watched a video of him being interviewed that morning and looked up his Wikipedia while it said he was still alive right before it came out that he died. RIP Shifty 🙏🏽.
Seth .. made the world a much better place... when seth was doing good there was no one better to roll with 😭😭😭😭pray shift us with Christ in bliss ... heart of gold 🎉🎉god bless big pimpin 🔥🔥🔥🦋🦋🦋🔥🔥🔥🎪🎪🎪🏆🏆🏆🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨🎼🎼🎼🎹🎹🎬🎬🎤🎤🎤🤹♀️🤹♀️🤹♀️
Never seen him at any concert, but I was shocked when I read about his death. :( I didn't know what he went through, and I feel sad about him. Poor soul, rest in peace buddy.
these guys played a big role in shaping my taste for good music. it's funny that in the west they think that in russia and the cis countries they only listen to the soviet anthem😂😂😂😂 As a lively teenager, i enjoyed the song butterfly. we also mourn with you guys. goodbye Shifty, your fight is over, sleep peacefully brother.
Crazy that he’d been dating Punky Brewster for a few years, he was homeless and living in a tent prior to his death. He’d always interact with his fans on IG
@marcoschalling8130 He was sleeping in a tent in MacArthur Park before renting a room in a flophouse in Koreatown. That's where he died. Sad man. His friend and 'sober coach', made a video discussing this. Also there's TMZ footage of the room he was renting and where he was found dead.
@@jamesgordon8548 happy to do it you guys did great that night! I have a ton of pics and footage from that night Wes is awesome for putting on that event
Same one hit wonder song for 30 years it's not hard. I liked this song when it came out but I'm a hardcore Hip Hop purest from Jamaica Queens NYC so that Nu school Rap Rock that was going on with them Limp etc wasn't really for me, my mom's like the single too and we couldn't get it only the album was available at the time so I tricked her into getting the whole garbage album haha I was in my Early 20s I guess so she was mid 40s now im 47. Rip Shifty
@@LiveRockMusic most def agree and very underrated. I recall the first time I saw the “Butterfly” video on MTV as a teenager and was like a little bit of Bizkit , a little bit on LP and a little bit of gangsta rap and a little bit of something I never heard before lol my cup of tea . Hah def loved their first two albums . Very nostalgic for me
Let's see if you can create something better that "fits the Age criteria". It's comments like this that prove it shoulda been you instead of shifty to pass
