Cary ( and others ), my humblest apologies! - I have run out of time to do my voice over for my latest video and I have also noticed a few minor shortcomings during my review of the finished video. In about seven hours I will be awake and will hit the ground running to get this vid uploaded tomorrow morning. Hope you can wait and are not as disappointed as I am that I missed this weeks deadline! - Stay tuned! - Marty.
Thanks Marty for the update. To Madison55's point, I thought you might have been ill was the reason we did not see a new video today. Glad you are ok and that we your fans ("addicts"...LOL) will see the new video soon. Take care :)
Marty, we watch your channel because you are genuine. Your happy and cheerful personality is what makes us want more of you. Whether it's restoring or unboxing, don't change the channel or who you are. We could all do with a little Marty in our life. Cheers!
You don't need a separate channel for the unboxings! It is very gracious of you to acknowledge gifts in this way. I can't imagine objecting to graciousness! And the unboxings give us an idea of the makeovers we might see on a future video. Something to look forward to.
No not another channel! It's Martys cars unboxings and anything else you want to do! People can watch or unwatch. Personally I just love to watch you just having fun. Film it and they will come. Nearly 100k can't be wrong
Don't split channels Marty. Just do one then the other, one unboxing then one restoration, or half & half. I enjoy seeing what fans send AND your process for bringing tired cars and trucks back to life.
I can go either.way on the on boxing videos. It's your humor that keeps me watching, I don't even own any match box cars but I remember some from my youth.
Personally I think it's nice have both the make over and unboxing videos, it gives a change of pace. Anyone who doesn't like to watch the unboxing can just skip it!. That my American 2 cents worth on the subject....
I agree, the video titles are quite clear, so should be easy enough to skip if not interested. I do wonder where Marty is going to put all these goodies however, let alone have time to restore them all.
Many thanks, Mate, for calling us viewers your "worldwide family" 👍👍👍😁 A week without an unboxing and a makeover (with my usual cup of coffee ☕) isn't "complete"..... Again, thank you so much for each and every show you do. Greetings from northern germany and please keep going 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is one of the very best channels on RU-vid. Always interesting. Sometimes fascinating. Very entertaining. And often informative. I'm always amazed at how Marty can restore something from horrible condition and make it look brand new. I have lots of respect for his skill.
I like both...If somebody doesn’t like the unboxing they can just skip over it.....I don’t think 2 channels is necessary...For me, it adds depth to the channel when you talk about and restore one of the vehicles you received.....
Shit mate this is weird. I lived in England (right next to Chigwell), I’m living in Arizona, watching you in Australia, open a package from a bloke in Chigwell. The joy of the internet!
Hi Marty, just to say I enjoy watching you unboxing videos and your videos are never boring. I'm sure others might agree it feels like your part of the family, you bring a lot of joy to many people.
Marty it is because of your personality and you kindness goes a long ways you make people feel good who doesn't like matchbox toys .still laughing from your video of you getting hit in head by the eggs keep the fun coming to RU-vid
Hi, Marty. Thank you for another fantastic video. Don't stop or change with your unboxing videos. I really like them. Btw, the white car with bluelights out of the first package, it's the Matchbox Superfast #46 "Stretcha Fetcha" Ambulance. Made in England 1971. I had one in my childhood. Keep up your good work. Greetings from Germany.
I personally love to see these unboxings. Then again, I live to watch some guy play a computergame. LOL. Could wish for a little more Kevin in these videoes. #KoalasRules 🐨
I love your videos; ALL of them. The unboxing videos are especially nice because you are as excited as a kid at CHRISTMAS time when you unbox these items.
What fun these unboxing videos are! I'm from Maine, Only about 10500 miles from you. I'll have to find me one of those licence plates for our 200 years of statehood. Dirigo's meaning is "I lead".
Hi Marty- another superb video. Me and the hubby really enjoy watching your channel. WE look forward to any new one you make, whether it's an unboxing or a makeover or even just a how to video, we watch them all. You're so right on how amazing it is on the amount of toys and other things that get your way. It just goes to show how many toy enthusiasts there are in the world. If I could choose what kind of video I would like to see you do a variety of different ambulances from different times. Keep up the brilliant work!
Marty, haters will always hate, your enthusiasm throughout the unboxing and the restoration videos is contagious, its not rocket science to bypass what you don't like. Keep up the good work mate, all the best Steve.
The No 5 looks priceless to me - beautiful. I appreciate you trying to please everyone - I am a little disturbed at the idea that some regular viewers can't bring themselves to ignore unboxing videos if they aren't interested but what the heck - it's your show. I like everything you do.
No worries Marty. I like your unboxing videos. It gives a preview of what we can expect in videos sometime in the future. It's also very interesting to see the variety of Matchbox vehicles that have been produced over the years. I loved my Matchbox cars when I was a kid, and your channel helps bring back tons of childhood memories.
Keep your format the same, I agree with several others commenting that you don't need another channel. The makeovers/unboxings are great but we also watch in large part for you sir, your character and sense of humor is what brings a lot of us back time and again. You make us all laugh(and we all need more of that) and we get to see pieces of our childhood being lovingly restored. Thanks for sharing Mike from Texas,Take Memories,Leave Footprints
Great that you have commented! - That was an awesome un boxing and you helped to make it cool! Thank you so much for your fantastic contribution, Marty.
@@MartysMatchboxMakeovers thats great! I'm happy you like the cameras I sent, they are both interesting. I hope you have fun with the vehicles I sent you; will you feature one of my return vehicles in a future post? Number 86 looks like a good challenge for you 😊 Looking forward to seeing more videos. Mark Davis
Wonderful video! So the "Ferrari" from the last box is actually a 1985 Lamborghini Countach 500 LP. Something Id love to have myself. Seeing as how you prefer the classic Lesney line of the 60s, I can assure you that the Superfast Wheels far better represent the actual tires the real Countach sported. Thin wheels of the original Matchbox cars would have looked silly. The Brownie camera was a favored bit of kit for Cub Reporters of Newspapers. Often many pictures published in the 40s came from the Brownie. It was also often the first cameras that children were introduced to photography with. What an excellent piece! That will look fabulous in your collection! Again...Thanks for what you do. And if that Lamborghini needs a home 😉
I love unboxing videos, cause I get to see all the cars I've never seen before . They are great! One of my favs actually just to see the lovely little cars. Plus it is like Christmas!
Love these unboxing videos and was excited to see my package come up first...then I had a good laugh when I saw how many other people thought of sending you magnetic clips lol. Gilles Desrosiers (Ottawa 🇨🇦)
I think you should keep in it all on one channel. I like the unboxings to see the various cars that have been made that I never knew existed. I also like them because I am always impressed by the overwhelming generosity of people that contribute to the channel. That to me is the best part of the unboxings videos. I hope you will do a race car themed show for some of your open and closed wheeled race car models some time. They were my favorites as a kid. Thanks for taking the time to share this. I always watch you on Saturday mornings.
I Love your unboxing videos, it is so cool to see what people send from around the world, You not only need a world map but country maps to put pens in. And maybe different color pins white for one package blue for five packages red for ten you get the idea. you can not make everyone happy but you sure do make the day for alot of us. I for one would watch both channels
Great video as always. Glad Kevin was behind you to supervise the unboxing. I enjoy the two part videos with the unboxing being in the middle of the week. Keep up the great work and keep Kevin straight. 😃
Marty, your videos are uniformly entertaining! As others have noted, you can't make everyone happy. Keep being you, and we your loyal audience will continue to enjoy. I assure you! Well done.
Your true fans will support you whatever you decide to do. Please don't stress out over what a small group of complainers say and just keep having fun.
I like watching your unboxing viseos, its interesting what your viewers send you. You are an awesome guy Marty., I can see why people would want to send you stuff. Keep up the good work.
Marty, I love your humor which keeps me coming back to watch more! At 34:50 you mentioned that the red car is a Ferrari but it is actually a Lamborghini. These two are known for the epic rivalry with their luxury sports cars back in the 60s!
I totally agree with the idea of two channels, I love watching all of your videos. You and yours have a blessed day from my wife Katherine and I from Albany NY area in the USA.
You are awesome man. Keep doing what you are doing remember you can't please everybody...I love the unboxings, the makeovers and seeing Kevin's mischievous doings with you lol..
Definition of Dirigo from Merriam-Webster: dirigo Latin verb di·ri·go| \dē-ri-ˌgō\ I direct -motto of Maine referring by analogy to the North Star appearing on the state seal.
Marty all your videos are good. The unboxing videos are especially interesting. They are a time machine for us children of the 60s and I for one watch with excitement, like a kid at Christmas. Great stuff mate!
hello marty. i love to watch your videos and that's how i found a love for small cars and restoration. I thank you very much for that. keep it up. love greetings Manu
I enjoy both unboxing and the total makeover I have learn a lot from your makeovers. I even repaired my sun visor in my Vw with the superglue and baking powder . Thank you for all you do. Alan in North Carolina
I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that people will read a video title, decide its not a video they want to watch and still go through the process of hitting the thumbs down and sometimes leaving a negative comment. I guess I was raised differently, you don't like something, then move on, no need to be critical, but then again, most people are self absorbed introverts and get satisfaction from being negative towards others. Nonetheless, I appreciate you bringing us into your life and sharing your hobby with us Marty. Thank you for the excellent content. Cheers mate.
