fcking sohyang. she can belt high notes. but i dont like ker style. it was so Plain straight voice. not even gives so much power and emotion shes not a versatile singer. shes focusing in her notes on how to hit that notes and it sounds nasal or what. no hates soh yang is still a great singer in korea.
What is much more amazing about Sohyang is.. she can play in that high notes with full of resonance and quality. Her technique is definitely unbelievable, but also her emotions... she's an indescribable vocalist.
My favourites were Beyonce, Tori (love the runs), Ariana, Vanessa, and obviously So Hyang!!! On side note, I'm glad that So Hyang is getting more recognition since she truly deserves it , but I'm also kinda worried that people might get annoyed with so many So Hyang fans flooding the comment section 😅

I didn't know you needed to be famous to be good in something, so under your statement almost every artist famous today are wonderful because the are world-known, for me most of them are shit. Speak for yourself. for me Mariah was a great singer one day, but she's a mess now, she can't even sing without autotune, so no. I prefer someone less "known" but more consistent in time :)

I hope that So Hyang is known more for her moving performances rather than her high notes because thats what defines her as an artist, someone who gives her 100% in every performance and her insane belts are usually a result of that. Too many people mistake her for a belting maniac after watching these clips, what they don't realize is that she is almost belting her heart out during these momemts It's the same as taking a sentence out of its context and interpreting it literally which often gives a whole different meaning to it. Consider it as doing a favor to a fellow human being and please go through her videos first before jumping to conclusions Thank you.

As pleasant as her tone might be, she is miles away from being better than a star rated vocalist. Do your research first, please. 2. Respect their opinion.

Lara Fabians F#5 is awaking the heart. Sohyangs Bb5 is remarkable Christina’s C5 wasn’t that bad but long notes aren’t that good Park Kioung’s F6 is a big big wonder Mariah can be sooo well in notes it’s not descriptive
You know you've been listening to too much sohyang when everyone else's notes no longer impress you. except for 90s Mariah carey. she bae and fabulous.
Ariana is such a queen , her ease on Bb5's is a miracle, I mean I know she doesn't have the best technique, she needs a bit of improvement on support,resonance and she used to have a really bad jaw tension(which she improved on), but her tone, belting,rifs,runs, falsetto, whistels and natrual vibrato which is gotta be one of the best ones in the industry, her natural vibrato even applies even up to D6(in a very beautiful tone which blows me away everytim I hear it) . Ariana does have flaws but over time she is gonna improve and unleash her full vocal potential.
The only ones that impress me are goddess SoHyang and goddess Mariah. While there are other singers I like in this video, sohyang and Mariah always amaze me. They are so unique and excell far more than the others in the same category as them.
Every C#6 in this video are headvoice. Tiffany Mosley headvoice (passagio at high C), Paullete headvoice (passagio at Bb5), Park Ki Young headvoice (passagio at A5), and Rachelle head dominant mix. This just proves how amazing Sohyang is.
Jivs Divina Tiffany did. Her vocal chord was fully enclosure. Her resonance was amazing, but wasn't belted c# which eventually falls off to headvoice after passagio.
