Working on Crazy Wisdom with Andy has been one of the high lights of my career. Andy had faith in me to film the project with my phone when no one else would have. Benny Zenga edited it together beautifully. Thanks to George & Stacy & everyone at Powell Peralta. 🐉🐉🐉

Also i think that chain boardslide will never get the appreciation it deserves but im so hyped its the ender because you did a boardslide...a freaking boardslide no one else would have seen, much less be able to do.

I love that he doesn’t let the culture around skateboarding dictate to him who he has to be as a skater. Not caring about that peer pressure is the essence of skateboarding and rock n roll.

Andy is by far the most versatile skateboarder ever, and the most fun to watch! the board slide on the chain at the end is just insane. The lines and combos that Andy comes up with is so good! The video Dan Corrigan put out with Andy doing god knows how many smiths down the 28 stair? (IIRC) trying to go to manual shows just how consistent he is, love it!

Andy Anderson has been redefining skateboarding for years, glad to see he finally has a full part dedicated to it

I will admit that I never really thought that much of Andy Anderson 5+ years ago. To be completely honest I judged him for his style and trick selection. I thought to myself that he was just too different to make it anywhere significant and that the skate industry would continue to pass by him with little to no recognition. I was wrong. Over the course of time I’ve learned to judge others less because I know that I don’t like to be judged. It’s not the way. I’ve learned that creativity is one of the most vital aspects of being a human. Watching Andy skate is witnessing the essence of love and creativity. He oozes passion. There will only ever be ONE Andy Anderson. I’m sorry that I judged you, Andy. You’re possibly the most creative skateboarder on the planet and not to mention the things you’re doing are unimaginably difficult, and you’re the only one who can imagine doing them. That right there is the source of creativity. I’m not who I used to be, as most of us aren’t. I’m happy that I can appreciate Andy’s talent and discontinue judging what I don’t understand.

What can I even say that hasn't already been said a million times? I was so moved by this. It's incredible to see someone excel at something they are so passionate about because they put in the hard work to achieve their goals. Andy is a guru, historian, and philosopher of skateboarding. He sees and knows all of it, and he brings it all together like no one else can with humility, respect and kindness to all. He is The One.

I'm glad that I was able to get Andy's first board from a skate shop in the Czech Republic. I hope that Powell will do a European tour someday, come to Prague, so I'll have the opportunity to get Andy to sign it for me.

The way Andy skates makes me smile. It's like pure joy and creativity all in one amazing person on a board. Creativity has no limits so skate how you want to! Man I've seen hundreds of videos and skate clips over the years but NOTHING like this. I actually fucking cried. I can only imagine it's how people felt watching man walk on the moon. It's like watching a man break free from the shackles of reality. I've never seen a skater who seems more free. A level in which nothing is impossible and EVERYTHING is possible. I have honestly never seen anything more beautiful on a skateboard. I can't believe some of those clips can actually exist all in one part - my mind can't comprehend that it's possible. Honestly, thank you Andy. Thank you so much. What it must be like to see the world through your eyes. (I can only imagine it's like the matrix and everything is flowing green lines of code or something) That has brought me more joy and redefined what I ever thought could be possible more than any other skate part I've ever watched.

Powell Peralta still making me want to skate like they have been my whole life, since I started in the late 80s to now I've always loved Powell Peralta and now they have one of my favorite skaters on the team.... If only I had my original board from back then I'd probably still be riding it. Maybe someday I'll be able to save up and get a new one... Specifically Andy's signature board so I can still do freestyle, and maybe some flat ground tricks. 😁👍🖤
