I don't think some people realize that there's a relationship between the Filmer and the skateboarder.It's not something that can be faked. you know the relationships are good because the films are good. I ❤️ Powell Peralta. My first "brand new" deck, was a Lance Mountain, 1986, when I was 12. Learned to olly on that board. Regrettably, can't skate anymore, due to an injury. But, I do love watching these vids. Closing my eyes, and listening to the sound of skating....damn. Makes me smile every time. Thank you for letting me live, vicariously, through the videos, of these amazingly talented skaters. Absolutely love it.🤘🤮

Bones Brigade alive & well. I learned how to power slide riding Bones wheels in 1984. I've been riding Dragon Formula 93 duro since they were available & are so good to me. Im really enjoying the nano cubic right now. I wish there was a 1O" wide popsicle flight deck with a 14"-14.75" wheel base. Powell Peralta should be the next president of this country 😂
I'd love to see a full length powell peralta film like the ban this,propaganda, public domain style.all the new stuff in an old style film.this us so rad but I just miss the old school films.All the skitts and all the skills.

Flight decks last for so long. I basically have to get sick of my board and then I'll buy a new one. This team is the raddest. Please come back to Springfield MO we haven't had demo since you guys came with Charlie Blair and that's been some years!!! We're STARVING for it here in the midwest!!!

Love all my flight decks. Two Andy boards and the 9-inch popsicle. NEED to see some LARGER sized boards.. Vajra in a 9.5 or a shaped 10-inch deck would be amazing. I like the HEROIN SKATEBOARDS shapes, but they aren't flight decks. I need these flights in larger sizes powell!!! Im a big boy with large feet, and i need those flight decks in larger sizes, please.. Id order to 5 or 10 of them and stock up!!
@@powellperaltaHow about an uncut blank Flight deck that you can cut to your own shape and/or foot size? I remember back in the very early 90's getting rectangular blanks from my skateshop in Glasgow that you could trace and cut any shape you wanted into. I had one drawn to the Tony Hawk medallion deck shape but added a wee bit on the length of the (already big for it's time) nose, and narrowed the width and tail slightly too before cutting and smoothing the edges. I was a streetskater but loved that Hawk shape and wanted a more street version of it.

I have only skated flight decks for a little while now/only 3 boards over the last year and a half. The first one I replaced because the board outlasted the grip. The second got run over by a box truck in the street. Even though it crunched I could still ride it to my shop to buy my current flight deck

really! why would you need to use free music when actual skateboarders would make tracks for free! and i love all these guys and i don't know what their intent was...... but it looks like mostly iphone clips with dad cam angles, (all good), but looks like it was edited on an iphone as well. what happened with the great vids powell put out? animal chin, public domain, celebrity tropical fish?
I honestly don't understand what you find wrong about that hat? It's like a better version of a beanie.. I wear carpenter hats, they have a short bill. My boss likes to call them Fidel hats. Joking around as if they are commie hats. Is it just cause he wears it all the time? I'm just curious. That style hat is much better than wearing a beanie or something that doesn't suit him. Idk

3 decades ago Mutt did everything here (except the concrete pool/transitional stuff) and did it better, on inferior equipment, without the benefit of every second of his skating being filmed from multiple angles then being able to choose what to include from hundreds (or maybe even thousands) of hours of footage. The Andy Anderson video was innovative, creative, technical and fun to watch but this is ho-hum at best.
It’s funny how people have been hating on Powell for years, and they started the flight deck what like 6 years back, and it’s funny how all the other board companies have followed suit,making there own version of the flight deck, Powell is the shit, only complaint is the amount of time they have people put in work before coming pro, Zach Doeling should be pro for sure,, his Blind part was a while ago, and that was pushing the limits on tech skating, turn that man pro already
