creaking staircase problems 

@jonrussell7929 o yeah I considered somthing similar my self but clients on a budget and needed to get the carpet down asap

I had ones where every tread was cracked, was bad but same kind off client no access limited funds. Luckerly she got kids stay at friends for night so I could give it all a night to set. I done exactly what you did but some were really bad so I also router out shallow 6mm channels (22mm treads) braced them with PU and stewed metal flat strap from SF (less than a tenner for 1mtr). I also considered hiding some L brackets to tread/stringer but after the next day they were solid and were fine so didn’t bother. Gave some advice to client tho, this isn’t the best solution but it’s the cheapest. Such is is life with carpentry these days

@gavincollins9376 it's 98%better hopefully once the glue sets in 24h it will be sorted but it's all I can really do from above unfortunately
