I bought this laser during the Black Friday sales and I only used it a handful of times but those times I did use it I was amazed. I plan on using it more with my projects but it was well worth the money and definitely easy to use as I am a first time user with any laser machine. I was up and running only a few hours as i also needed to learn the software.

Yes, this is definitely a good one for a beginner. Since it is all set up it's pretty easy to get up and running (once you have figured out the software of course).

1:20 This is the only example i've seen of the dozens and dozens of diode laser "review" videos of one cutting 3mm MDF. Doesn't seem to have a problem cutting it. Nice
