My complexion is naturally extremely rosy, and I never wear any face products with coverage, so I have absolutely no reason to use any form of blush. But I still appreciate it for what it is to other people. I love listening to you and Amanda Z rave about your favorite formulas, regardless of the fact that I know I'll never use blush.

Thank you Izzy! ☺️ I have a fairly rosy complexion too so I *never* used to bother with blush, but I eventually realised that applying a bit of creamy colour gave me control over the shade and placement, so it didn't just look like I was hot and bothered haha x

a cream blush i love is the canmake cream cheek! its a japanese brand and it also has a powdery texture once you apply it to your skin but on the compact its gel-like ☺️

BITE's multisticks were incredible. Cashew was my ride or die eyeshadow, and I have two extras but will be so sad when they're gone (although the Two Faced Melted Chocolate 24 Hour Eyeshadow in Amaretto is a decent dupe). BITE's original agave lip mask was the best too. Not sure they they either discontinued or changed the formulas of all their best stuff!

I’m a recent subscriber to your channel and I honestly just wanted to express how I’m love I am with your videos. The time length is so perfect (doesn’t drag on to the point that it becomes tiring to watch to the end), the information is so well expressed/transmitted to the viewer, but not only that, (and it might be a weird kind of compliment but) the information is so...informative! There have been many videos that I’ve watched where the creator just keeps talking on and on about things that don’t really have anything to do with the products they’re presenting (and I’m not saying that’s wrong, some people enjoy these kind of story-time/rant videos, on less usual occasions I do too) but you are just so well organised. For example, as you are talking about a product, a question might pop up in mind and the second I ask myself that question, as if you read my mind, you will answer it! I just appreciate very much how useful, structured, thought out your (again) information and opinions are. And let’s not talk about the visuals...it’s so beautiful! All in all, you inspire me a lot and I’m completely head over heels with your content.

I’m from the Philippines and sunnies face is my ultimate makeup brand . Their lip dip formula is my favourite . It’s a moussy , fluffy , whipped and pigmented formula that looks super smooth and blurred on the lips . I also use it as a cheek tint coz it’s so soft and smooth . Love the shades “posh” and “femmebot “ from the lip dip range . Their fluffmatt lipsticks are also to die for 😍 you should totally give them a try ✨

Thank you Trey! Cream highlighters are definitely on my list 😉✨ Sadly in that category, I'm not sure I use any that last all day though. I love a really dewy finish so it tends to sink into the skin after a few hours. You could always try setting with a bit of powder highlighter on top! x

I tried a Nudestix nudie matte years ago but really struggled to blend it on my dry cheeks. Perhaps I’ll try again, and pay closer attention to good moisturizing when I do. I’m deeply tempted to try the Rare Beauty blush . It gets raves all around, and I love the brand’s vibe.

What are your thoughts on the new rare beauty stay vulnerable melting blush? I picked up the shade nearly neutral and I’m in love with the formula. Better than the fenty cream blush in my opinion and it’s so dewy and creamy :)

Thank you so much Britta! 😄 My audience is spread all over the world so I'm lucky to be sent press samples by brands sometimes even if they don't currently ship to Australia. I've also used mail forwarding services in previous years (but don't plan to again after a bad experience in 2020). I used to sometimes get friends overseas to send products to me too but stopped doing that during the pandemic so they could avoid unnecessary trips to the post office. We're a bit isolated down here aren't we! x

Thank you Susan! 😄 We've had very low case numbers in Australia so sadly I don't have experience wearing makeup under a mask (if I do need to wear one, I skip makeup), but you'll find lots of tutorials and tips online! I'm not sensitive to fragrance either but I'm sure there will be information online for you. Good thinking, I filmed a Holy Grail Makeup video years ago but it might be time for an update! x

You got me into cream and liquid blush and i haven’t been able to go back since! Personally, I enjoy milk makeup’s lip and cheek in Werk. It’s a nice formula for my skin type where it’s not too pigmented but it’s easy to build up and work with. And then i got a liquid blush from EM cosmetics for christmas that i’ve been playing around with, though the liquid throws me off a bit lol!

Love this topic Matilda! I’m a blush and lipstick girl fir sure! I also have dry skin and prefer a dewy finish but these do have better staying power, so I do have some mattes. I love the nudestix formulas and have multiples in both of them. Also the rare beauty Love as well as a couple of the dewy ones. I like to mix in just a smidge of liquid highlighter (esp the ysl one in a tube) with the blush and that makes it dewy not glowy. I did used it use the Nars and bite beauty sticks but haven’t reached for them lately. Now I’m going to have to try a few new ones you mentioned.

Have you tried Trinny London. I think you would really like her stuff. She’s all about cream blushes, cream shadows. The foundation is amazing. You should try it.

Hi M! 👋🏼 Thanks to the help of a dermatologist, my excessively oily skin has become normal! Normal? Yes, normal! Whatever that is. All I know is I can actually try all the creme blushes I see! Creme Brûlée is waiting for me, the color and formula sound lovely! 💖 xoxo

This was great! Can you do a video on cream bronzers? I can't seem to find the right one for pale skin! It's also really helpful to see the intense swatch but then a more blended swatch (more of a realistic idea of what the product will actually look like on your skin) :)

I still love my Bite Multisticks! I plan on buying the new melting blush from Rare Beauty, they look lovely, both packaging and formula. Have you tried the Stila convertible colour? They’ve been around for so long, I guess they’re good...

I love the look of the new Rare Beauty blushes too! Absolutely, I have some very old Stila Convertible Colours but they're still going strong. They don't have a matte finish so weren't right for this topic, but one shade is actually coming up in my next video 😉 x

Loving cream everything. You turned me on to the cream formulas. I'm going to watch this series for new favs. I'm intrigued by the Nudesticks. Must check the colors. I do like some sheen on my cheeks, so I'm waiting with bated breath for your cream blush with sheen. PS. I also use Squarespace for my website. You have a beautiful site and I'm very happy with mine also. PPSS Right now I'm using Stilla Convertable color cream blush in Petunia. It's a bright lively color that goes with my new love of bright lipstick. I also use a brush for application. It's an RMS cream blush brush. Makes all the difference for me.

You'll find a Pot Rouge shade in one of my old videos Lola! It's quite a pigmented formula so try applying a very small amount (maybe even swirl just one finger around in the compact and tap it lightly onto each cheek). I always try to apply makeup straight after my morning skincare - I find cream products apply more evenly on hydrated skin with quick fingertip strokes to blend it in 👍 x

Greta selection, as always! I’ve watched all of your videos but I can’t remember if you’ve tried the Kosas or Kjaer Weis cream blushes, would love your opinion! I also hear that Ilia’s multi-sticks are great. I recently bought the Illamasqua colour veil blush and it’s a very interesting texture, feels cooling on the skin as well. Thanks again!

bought the nudestix in sunkissed after seeing it recommended a few times and i must say i absolutely love the muted terracotta shade!!! lasts a long time too :)
