I am a mother of 6 and these cream of mushroom/chicken recipes are so easy & convenient! just life savers so delicious. It’s really so simple. Any choice of meat Chicken or Beef. season w/ all your favorite seasonings. Sear both sides of meat only to brown. Transfer meat & juices in the pan into a baking pan. Put your choice of veggies on top then pour the can of mushroom on top then bake. Its so easy & delicious w/ cornbread
Made this for dinner tonight! It was fantastic 👏 It's only my partner and I so I cut back the recipe. I used 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, reduced the onion & peppers, and covered it with one can of soup. Put it in oven at 375 for 1 hour. Perfect 🥰
For my daughter and I, I cut the recipe in half, used 1 can cream of chicken soup (because I had mushrooms on hand) and like another comment, sliced onion and added some frozen broccoli...When it came to searing chkn I used cast iron pan, covered with foil after I added the sauce and then baked in the oven. I HATE washing extra dishes lolol. It was wonderful, mashed potatoes and ciabatta and we LOVED it!!!
I made this tonight for my husband. He's the one who found it and asked me to make it. I followed everything exactly except using olive oil instead. Hubby loved it! Thank you so much. I think this will be a welcomed addition to the weekly menu.
I have made this recipe a few times. I fed a friend of mine with some leftovers and he was talking about it for 3 days. Said it was soooo good. This is my new go to it’s absolutely delicious.
So I went ahead and cooked this for my family yesterday. Everyone gave me a thumbs up as it was indeed a winner. The key to it all was making the thighs crispy and having it marinate into the sauce/mushroom soup. The meat was so tender that it was easy to pull off. The peppers and onions added a nice flavor to it all as well.
This is a very useful recipe for people who just do not cook or are very busy etc. 2 hours at 375 does seem too much cooking time as the chicken is shredded by then really. It should be more 1.20 as one is only waiting for the vegetables to cook and the chicken to stew. This dish is better with chopped mushrooms added and a little less water. Tumeric is a great agent for color and it has cooling health benefits.

So happy to find a chicken recipe that uses the bone-in thighs! I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income, & most recipes I've found use boneless, skinless thighs, or they only use the boneless, skinless breasts... that stuff is WAY out of my price range, lol. I hit the like button before I even saw the whole video. As soon as I saw what kind of chicken you were using, I said "I'm gonna give this young lady a like". The recipe sounds great, so I'm going to continue watching it now. I just may decide to fix this for tonight's supper. Thank you!😊

Hello, I came across a week ago your channel. I followed the outline of your recipe but I used cream of chicken as I did not have the cream of mushroom. Trying to stay within the flavoring I added a canned mushrooms and I added the liquid in the can to the cream of chicken soup. I must say browning the thighs was aromatic from the seasonings used to marinate. The thighs I had were large so I decided to marinate in the refrigerator covered for 2 days. I plated mashed potatoes in the center of the plate and put the chicken thigh smothered in the gravy red peppers, green peppers, and onions over the potatoes. Delicious! This is a recipe that I will be making again and be proud to serve to family and friends. Thank you.
I made this last night and it turned out SO good! I used chicken breasts instead and added chopped mushrooms. I only had one can of cream of mushroom so I substituted the 2nd can with cream of chicken. Everyone loved it! Thanks!
Hi Candy, another great recipe. I was looking for something different other than the regular baked or barbecue and I came across this recipe. I looked in pantry and I had every ingredient even had cream of chicken so if I didn’t find cream of mushroom I was going to use the cream of chicken. I made this and I can tell it was so delicious and falling off the bone tender. I had mine with spinach rice and everyone loved it especially my grandkids. Thank you and stay blessed.

Incredible! I substituted carrots for peppers & used 1/4 onion along with 2 scallions. Served over wild rice. The sauce was King!! Hubby loved it & plenty for leftovers. 😊

wanted other than the regular baked or bbq. I've made cream of mushroom times before but anyway ..Chopped my drumsticks.. Seasoned. Etc. But I did add the paprika, and I don't usually or add water but I do see the difference already. Nice coloring on yours.. I used onion but had no pepper. So I used fresh spinach. It looked really nice. It's in the oven now I put it on my Snap story This mushroom chicken is gonna be good one thank you so much for sharing. A go to easy and tasty and I ALWAYS keep a cream of something...lol wish I could post the pic. It looks kicked up a notch for sure 😃
Hi. I made the chicken recipe and it was great. Thank you. I did not have poultry or complete seasoning so I used Mrs. Darsh and Weber garlic herb seasoning. I also had some fresh portabella mushrooms and I cut them up in the soup mix along with some minced garlic. My son cooks too and wanted to know where I got the recipe, so I showed him your channel. The dry seasoning anything you prefer or have on hand can be used. Cream of mushroom is the main ingredient every thing else is optional. I'm happy it turned out great for you. Thank you for your support appreciate it 🙏🏾 😊

Great recipe. Cant wait to try with golden mushroom soup. And maybe add a pile of fresh mushrooms in the dish for baking or cook them down a bit with the seared chicken!

Candy this is a go to dish in our house. I prefer to use bone in chicken too, but often use breast as well. Yours turned out great. The color if that gravy has my mouth watering.
