My favorite Cream song and probably the most beautiful bass line I know. This song is THE reason I began playing bass. It's just absolutely magical. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I did playing it. :)
One of my all time favorite Cream originals. Will let you in on a little factoid , that little jam Jack was weaving in and out with in the background ,was his tip of the cap to "the Cutty Wren " a really ancient English folk song.
It was pretty up there, over €3.5k. Hard to find these in Europe. It's a very clean specimen however, and I find the slothead years are kinda the best of both worlds, 60s and 70s, in terms of features.
@@torchmusic27 Also what was the pickup selection like? It sounds mostly like the neck mudbucker, but when you're playing the faster parts there's also a bit of grit
That's something I didn't know until I got an EB-3, when I still only had an EB-0; all the famous EB recordings are played on pos 3, bridge pickup with choked mudbucker :) with the tone rolled off it still has a crapton of mud but much better definition and a load of that signature grunt that an EB-0 just can't quite produce. This one is no exception!
