Two questionsmp, sweetheart: Can I replace sweet potatoes with honeynut squash and replace cream with a beaten egg? Been wanting to try this but skeptical. Ever tried eggs in soups? Hi dear friend, yes you can swap sweet potato with honey-nut squash. And to be honest I haven’t tried it with egg, so I’m not sure but I do believe that you can use a plain yoghurt, maybe Greek yoghurt to make it creamy instead of using cream. ❤️

I noticed you put the Shallots into cold oil which is not good as the oil needs to be hot for the cooking process to start. And why turn it into just LIQUID WITH NO BITE WHEREAS LEAVING IT CHUNKY IS FAR BETTER. And the end it is completely ruined by the addition of cream.
