250 g penne pasta
2 chicken breasts
Salt
Black pepper
Flour
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
200 ml heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 sprig of rosemary
Reserved pasta water
100 g cream cheese
Butter
Oil
Instructions ⬇️⬇️:
Cook the pasta:
Cook the penne in a large pot of boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Drain and reserve some of the pasta water.
Prepare the chicken:

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
Dredge the chicken breasts in flour.
Cook the chicken:

In a pan, melt some butter with oil.
Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides.
Remove the chicken breasts from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the sauce:

In the same pan, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until tender.
Add the heavy cream, salt, black pepper, turmeric, and rosemary. Mix well.
Add some reserved pasta water and the cream cheese. Stir until the sauce is smooth.
Assemble:

Return the chicken breasts to the pan with the sauce.
Add the cooked penne and mix well to coat the pasta with the sauce.
Serve:

Serve hot, garnished with fresh rosemary if desired.
