😋Wowzers!👌🏾yummm Freakin amazing! Rice pudding was a childhood favorite of mine and still is... The creaminess of the pudding is what makes it dreamy. Your delicious looking pudding reminds me of my grandmas She sometimes made hers with sorghum molasses and heavy cream.

Hey there Miss Talli Faye ! I have just pushed myself away from two helpings of Navy beans with Ham hocks and Rotel tomatoes. I couldn't find the Jamestown brand but Smithfield makes some that are what I needed. I did make a big thing of coleslaw to go with the beans and cornbread. Let me tell you, we didn't have ANY leftovers. I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for contributing to the delinquency of a fat boy. One more thing, when the Good Lord calls me home, may I die with a mouth full of fried chicken instead of a mouth full of tofu. Peace and blessings to you and your family 🙏

Oh Talli I can't begin to count the endless hours I spend watching your channel. Foods been great but it's you. My granny has been gone now 30 years. As a little girl you two could be twins. @@cathyjsutton1654 well, I wouldn’t begin to think that I could make pie as delicious as your precious granny!!… The one I make is in my videos on here… if you scroll down on them it two months ago… it’s right before the yeast roll video…. There is a homemade pie crust video immediately before the pie but I don’t have a problem at all with pre made crust!! 😂… If you try it , let me know if y’all liked it… it calls for the zest in it but that’s optional if yall don’t like zest♥️♥️

My Grandma cooked on one of those big cast iron wood stoves till the day she passed, but anytime I got sick with a cold or flu I got a little cot to stay warm next to the stove and a big bowl of warm rice pudding.. miss those days, I still make rice pudding, I like dried, chopped apricots in mine, instead of raisins, but it still isn't as good as grandma's and that old wood burning stove..lol
My grandpa from NJ who was out of our lives my entire life until my mom found him after 40 plus years. He was in the War and was at Pearl. He and grandma divorced during the war. She was only 16 he was 18 and grandma got prego with mom when grandpa was sent to Pearl. Anyway when mom found him he had some of his own recipes that he used to show off and if u showed an interest he would make it for u often. That’s the way it was with this recipe. Rice pudding. I loved rice pudding as a kid but when I made it I wasn't a fan. I will have to try this recipe. Also, I'm with Buzz with the raisins. That looks delicious!
Ohhh!!.. I love to paint lol 😂… I promised myself that I wouldn’t paint the walls in my house… my daddy built this house for me and it has solid wood walls throughout… they are wonderful… I just know if I painted one wall, there’d be no turning back… soooo… I have to use decor for color…. I guess that’s why I have all the red and turquoise in my kitchen… it feeds my need for color! And I still get to see my walls and think of my precious daddy 😇
@@inthekitchenwithtallifaye4724 my home was all wood interior unpainted as well my house was built in 1952 but along the way people started painting it and now the only thing left is the beam ceilings that are completely untouched wood and I love them

Looks so good! I had to laugh when you mentioned that your husband does not like the raisins in it. My grandma never put raisins in her recipes because my grandpa did not like them. He'd refuse to eat anything with raisins in it, called them "flies". 😂😂😂

I love regular rice also but I find I really enjoy the texture of the minute rice when making stir fry dishes or when I just want a bowl of rice with butter, it’s quick and easy and taste good too !! ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈

What is it with men and raisins? My husband won't eat them either. I love them. Also, real cooks know exactly what a "blob of butter" is and there is nothing at all wrong with instant rice. I'll bet all those rice snobs out there have used it on occasion. Thank you for this recipe. I've been looking for a good one for rice pudding and this looks wonderful.

Yeah, I’ve never had one done in less than fifty minutes … oh, I just thought of something… my cousin uses brown sugar and crushed pineapple in hers and it’s ALWAYS moist and amazing!… it doesn’t change the taste either!
If I can add my thoughts. I would ask, was your Pumpkin cooked to the point of being mushy? I also would point out to you. Not all that glitters is Gold! There’s a lot of recipes that are crap. My suggestion is with all recipes, analyze them! I will find you a good one!
Yes, definitely need rain, and I'm hoping for a break from the temps in the 90s soon. In addition to praying for rain, I'm praying for patience until He decides to provide it. This is another one of those poverty foods that we now get to love. My dad talked about this when we were kids, and he'd sometimes use leftover rice with some sugar and milk or cream as a quick substitute. I didn't appreciate it then, but I do now. Thanks for sharing this recipe with us.
